I think the idea is you're supposed to have channel editors running things from the back end to clip things as they happen. It's obviously too clunky to use if you're running it solo, but if you have a team of people highlighting topical conversations in the moment then putting those up as videos could draw more eyes toward the ongoing stream.

Still seems like even if that was the idea it would have been easier to just upgrade the clip feature that already exists then make an entirely separate kind of redundant one
