I actually love that 5 got rid of deathstacks, makes fucking logistics, the most important part of warfare, actually matter in a civ game.
Was frustrating at first, but once i got used to it, i could never really imagine going back to stacking.

Finally, someone around here has a good Civ opinion. Civ V is the best Civ game, and whatever Civ game you like that isn't Civ V is second-place to it.

Last time i played vanilla civ 5 was a lo-ong time ago.

Civ I - IV doesn't have Disney characters for world leaders, so they're all automatically better than V.
