The one good thing about Australia is that there's a plant that grows in NSW called the gympie-gympie. Yeah, we have ranges, as well as dedicated gun shops. I don't know why Pippa's so convinced guns don't exist over here, a few people I knew growing up were big into hunting, the only real limitation is your local police station do a background check to make sure you're not a schizo who's gonna shoot up his family or have a history of violent crimes.
UK gun law is hilarious. They do have ranges. It's a generally rural and aristocratic sport. The caliber restriction, feature restriction, and other massive limitations are crazy restrictive. Lots of bolt guns and shotguns. No "assault"-y guns allowed, especially if they're simi-automatic. 100% no self defense at all too. That's fun.
