Amber was White in the comics btw. It was a completely pointless raceswap for literally no reason, and then the show uses her as a vessel to shit on Mark.

And Amber is just a side character who isn't really important because the comic focuses more on Mark and Eve. The comic pretty quickly drops her, iirc, and the only major thing I remember is her getting beat up by a violent ex, or something.
