"James in a Mess" - he beats the shit out of a bunch of wagons because they're dirty and getting dust on his beautiful red paint and in revenge they shove him down a hill as fast as possible and slam him face-first into a bunch of tar tankers. Very vaguely reminds me of a certain fandom fucking with their oshi, or perhaps "Jannies in a Mess" works better.

There's an enormous rabbit hole of Tank Engine autism on YouTube, especially of the horror genre. Apparently the idea that Sodor's trains and rolling stock were the result of some kind of horrible man/machine combination experiments during WW2 is a popular one, and they are as a general rule very badly animated and voiced - which makes them funnier. A vendor told me he'd caught the Grand Google Algorithm showing his train-addicted son a video called "Shed 17" and recommended it to me since "you like that kind of stuff, right?"

I was insulted but he wasn't wrong.
