When I emulate games on my Deck, I have it plugged into RetroAchivements which is super easy because it is a default option in EmuDeck. So when I play old retro games, including Nintendo, I get achievements based on what I've just done in the game, popup notification and everything, that contributes points to a profile. I can imagine achievement autismos getting a kick out of this.

there's also a way to backup save states and whatnot to your google drive/dropbox/whatever and sync them, like Steam's cloudsync.

Syncthing, it works across Linux, Android, WIndows. It takes a bit to get working but it's great, even my shitty $25 gameboy clone can use it.
