I do find it funny she danced around the whole "I think you can joke about anything" thing but its pretty clear that jokes at the expense of vets are where her line is in the sand and she was trying not to say it.
It's the diffrence between making a dead baby joke, and mocking a woman for having a miscarriage.

No I get it, I actually don't agree with her whole you can joke about anything mindset, there is a time and a place for things and people that are closest to those things are the ones with the right to make light of them, but I'm able to say that and mean it instead of feeling like I need to say something cause someone on twitter was getting canceled over a non-joke trump joke at the time.
I believe that there should never be sacred cows with humour; even if it's distasteful, if someone sees humour in veterans getting killed then that's their right. The more pressing issue is that teenagers tend to be terrible at reading the room and understanding the right time and place for that kind of thing, which you have to discipline into them before they get into trouble.

I get disgusted when the media does this shit. Mother of two accused of X crime. Just because you are a mother doesn't mean you are a good person. Every animal breeds, it's not something worthy of respect on it's own.
Everything* can be joked about. Being serious, this is basically how she sees it with everything, not just jokes. She does it with politics and shit as well. It's okay, except for the things that make her uncomfortable.
