There is (was?) literally only one person on TikTok that I have a personal vested interest in following, so it's not really too bad for me. The regular content on TikTok itself is hellish though, you aren't missing anything good.

For what it's worth I haven't heard anything about TikTok's ban carrying over to the UK beyond speculation and thinkpieces, so you might be able to VPN your way back in if you need to grab anything you missed.

I don't think it's so simple. Here's what I think:
- Elon's a high-IQ autist with a great memory, so he has a good understanding of his cars, rockets, as well as anything that has rigid rules (like the law, or business procedures and so forth)
- He does actually do 100+ hours work per week, and will sleep in the office when he needs to
- He's on the spectrum so struggles with basic social cues so he'll not be able to read the room unless he's told what the room is saying, and why he'll post cringe online
- He craves validation from other people, which explains why he has twelve kids to a bunch of women, posts on Twitter all the time, needs to post about his video game accomplishments and (almost-certainly) changed the twitter algorithm to get rid of people ratioing him.

It still amazes me that Elon Musk can be extremely based (like calling European governments tyrants or calling out grooming gangs), do astonishingly cool technological shit (like catching rockets) and then be extremely cringe (pretty much anything gaming or him fishing for validation) all within the same week, if not on the same day.
