Just to give A small update I'm 99% convinced that she's Pico the voice matches more in her early streams.

Phase remembered their JP Twitter account exists long enough to announce a 24-hour relay of streams to commemorate the half-year milestone of Kaleido.

The half-year commemoration streams have been going on today. As I write this Memory is getting to the end of her cooking stream and just announced new custom emoticons for subscribers.



Phase scheduled this and that Idol Showdown tournament at the same time. The audience cannibalization between the two is probably not that large but that still feels like a blunder IMO.

Really wish the PCJP Twitter account would be tweeting these things and I wouldn't have had to luck out on the YT front page algo to have found this. That that account is so inactive seems like a wasted opportunity.

Clara is starting her 50K sub celebration stream. She's doing a 3D stream with a very IMVU-ish model and singing karaoke (of course).



Other JP sub counts for comparison. Quite a bit far behind (especially the lolis) but compared to the first couple years of PhaseJP, it's a big difference I think.

Interestingly, I've heard Pico and Memory are talked more in some JP places few phase fans stick around. According to few of them, Memory is close to the small corp Varium and Pico's name appear here and there due to her excessive number of collabs. They both make content that almost requires JP to understand, so there's also that.

I can't tell how true the info is of course, but I can see the logic behind it.

They're 4ish for me, usually have to miss the first hour or two if she's streaming. Still a shame she's lagging. she's really entertaining

Yeah, the full JP Kaleido girls (sorry Clara, you're an ENtuber) has done very well. They're a few weeks away from 9 months and they've grown substantially well compared to the Gen 1 JPs.

Given that Pico was recently discussing the process for auditioning for Phase Connect for her Japanese audience and presumably for a future Japanese gen, the future is looking pretty bright too.

I can't tell how true the info is of course, but I can see the logic behind it.

From my completely-anecdotal observations of their chats, a fairly sizeable portion of Yuu and Loki's fanbases are english-speakers with various levels of understanding of what the fuck the girls are saying, whereas Pico's and Memory's audience seems almost purely JP., which probably explains the lag in subs between the pairs.

Still, compared to JP Origins, both their sub-growth and their SCs are pretty solid, for as hard as it has to be to break into the JP vtubing market as a western company, i assume they're doing pretty good.
