The 50-50 split sounds bad, but Phase does give their talent a decent amount of resources and we don't know the merch split they get. If they're getting 50-50 on the merch and coffee profits or more, then it's really not bad at all.
Don't use Pippa as the standard for if it's reasonable or not. She is definitely an outlier as she is one of the most super chatted vtubers in the world.
Coulda swore it was 50/50 before Youtube's cut, unless it changed? I remember that being the number when Coco spilled the beans.
