I can't help but feel these one-on-one meetups must be incredibly painful to sit through, since the vast majority of the interactions are between a socially awkward shut-in who left his house for the first time in a year to talk to an anime girl, and the socially awkward anime girl whose entire social life happens on stream. I have a sick fascination with cringe material online when I'm several steps removed from it, but trying to hold a conversation with introverted and mostly autistic fans sounds genuinely uncomfortable, and I don't envy that part of the job at all.

The whole idea of a "meetup" seems to alien to me. Might as well just use that money on a superchat.

Speaking of languages, there seems to be some new Disney cartoon coming out about Latinos or some shit and the people they got working on it can't even speak Spanish properly.

I can read and write english just fine but if i try to talk i would say many words wrong because i am not used to it, and unlike my own language the writing does not tell me accuratley how to pronounce it. Side effect of it beeing many languages in a trench coat. (Also there are words used in my language originating from different languages too. They are difficult to pronounce if you dont know which language they are from, but usually you know a french word, for example, if you see it) Does not mean english is hard to learn just that it is easy to spot not native speakers. Example also: Kiaras funny way she says iron or biome.
Also they way they pronounce some words with greek ar latin origin is just plain wrong.

You often learn pronunciation from listening to songs, movies, and tv shows. Even with shit pronounciation you can still tell what the person is trying to say which is why its not hard to understand ESLs that have poor english.
