That stream was great because he got absolutely fucking assblasted in 4D by everyone during and after the stream. He argued in the chat for like a week after the stream.

Oh yeah, and because he had the whole blockchain-based game distribution spiel that went for five minutes, and then Pippa and everyone in chat just went "Oh, so you mean like torrenting?" and he had no answer to it.

Designer Dave is a super weird fuck. I followed him for a while before he showed up on Pippa's stream as he actually had some good game dev info on his channel, and he made several videos about The Culling after he talked about it and that was his unhinged moment. No idea why of all things he chose to die on that hill, but seeing he designed that level and story he's probably butthurt people didn't get his genius even though he said management changed the level before release from what he wanted it to be.

I'm glad I never had a Paypal account, but that is extremely fucked. Looks like they backtracked though? I see articles saying it was an "error". I don't ever want to use Paypal, but it sucks that Streamelements uses them. Don't let up on this shit though, because it's obvious they would've went through with it if there wasn't backlash. But Paypal is a public company, so I don't see how there wouldn't have been a shit ton of lawsuits.

That shit seems highly illegal.

Paypal is another example of a company getting too big to the point of it turning into a monopoly and then some draconic bullshit goes on and people start getting fucked over. On the internet, almost everyone accepts Paypal and as a service, it's fucking garbage. Every time you send money to someone you dox yourself unless you somehow had the foresight of creating a "company" account but to do so you have to wait about a month for them to validate some shit. They often also intervene and freeze and block people from using their service. It's absolute dogshit. The artist that was working on my model is from Portugal and she (and others in her country) got fucked over by Paypal. She's been like this for a few months and she doesn't seem to know how to solve the issue.

I don't think that rule even applies to EN, considering how often Ame uses unofficial 3D models (eg. all her Smol Ame 3D models, Armando, etc) on her streams.

Different branches, different management. Imagine the shitshow if they suddenly told Ame to not use her Smol Ame model. (Then again its now an official mascot).
