They didn't have time to stream period, and if the "X hours a week minimum" was still applied cover would fire more or less everyone but Fauna.

They have time to stream, they just choose to use said time to rest as not everyone is like koyori/kaela, the minimum hours a week is not an exaggeration (they don't have to stream 3 hours per day most of the week like some small corpos) but they may have to at least do something company related hence sana leaving because she couldn't keep up.

If you join a big corporation and you are very popular, it's rather ass backwards way of thinking that you should make it take a backseat and focus on non-corpo account instead "just in case".

Ayame isn't slacking off either, her irl life is one big giant mess that generally only gets worse.

She was playing apex with 96neko as ayame more than she was streaming, most of her infamy comes from the fact she was shoehorned on a lot of sponsors and collabs to then somehow not have internet to stream or was too sick to do anything.

They resume activities because they have more time, since they are done with Holofes, not because they have a new contract

Contracts change and get renewed every year, we may not know what changes they make, but they seem more free to do what they want after their first year has passed (less streaming hours seem to be the most common), use dottovu as an example she has days where she takes breaks and she can still manage her VA career her patreon and her holo job, she got a new role on a game and she still had the time for holofes and even then she still has the next EN concert.

So how exactly a different contract would change anything here? They are already doing what they want with their free time, and there are no enforced activities that they would somehow be able to ditch with a different contract. They are still doing sponsored streams, participating in events, group collabs and irl meetings, none of this has changed. Sana left not because she couldn't commit to some behind the scenes work, she left because she couldn't commit to the bare minimum of actually streaming at least once in a while and she heavily prioritized her art career over her vtubing career, the latter directly affecting the first because she worked for chinese game whose fanbase has a rabid hateboner for Hololive (Ina's character in it is excluded from all rankings, last in popularity polls and she never did anything for them anymore afterwards).

She didn't lose her job because of something out of her control, like company going under, or YT banning vtubers, she got fired of no fault other than her own. She is not diversifying her revenue, she is literally putting exactly the same eggs into exactly the same basket that already got her in trouble before - cultivating obsessive fanbase and blowing money on expensive crap. Streaming on alt is not "putting eggs into a different basket" unless you are doing something different, or there is a good chance of you not being able to stream on main without doing anything bad. If she wasn't a menhera she wouldn't get fired, she is and she will do something incredibly stupid that would ruin her career again and again, just give her time. Ina is a very good example, she does different things as Nagu, so if cover decided to close EN she still has entirely different career unreliant on streaming.

Wow, what a horrible person prioritizing having fun with her friend over work when she feels like crap and doing bare minimum to not get booted and making up excuses not to do job. You are acting like takodachis when there were bitching about Ina raiding with her guildmates during her break, and not streaming because "she is clearly physically capable of it so why can't she just stream"

She had 8 streams in the last two months. That's one stream a week. This isn't "days where she takes breaks" it's "one day a week she still does streams". She simply chooses to spend her time doing side job instead of properly resting which, again, circles back to "they absolutely can do roommate activity and there is nothing in the contract that prevents it". Some choose their free time to be spent on rest, some choose it on work. It's not mandated, it's a personal choice

my realization was based on
1. It was probably someone post EN1 so someone from Council, as he wasnt around or known pre HoloEN

2. Someone who had enough of an internet footprint out of council (so, no Sana)

3. He usually never went against many corpos like MyHolo (so no Bae)

4. Kronii was not as active in the vtubing circles as Mumei

5. Mumei is probably not autistic enough to not PM someone like him
