That entire series of events had me in stitches. I know Rin and Yuko and the others from Idol-EN just recently premiered. Are they all pretty decent? Or are Yuko and Rin the big stand outs?
Rin is entertaining by nature
Checking in on Altare's FF14 stream and he's playing violin (edit: it's a cello) or something? He's trying to re-create Matoya's theme. Hit me with those late stickers if this is known about him, but damn it's neat and I didn't know at least.
He played a little Cello on stream. There are only streams of it, not sure if he privated it because of the impro or something else.

Calli has admitted that she goes to sites like 4chan to ego-surf, she can't help herself even if the info there causes her to worry.

She has history, let's say.

(There's also that one pre-EN /jp/ post asking for pre-debut advice that's widely believed to be Calli, but no luck trying to find that again with the search terms this polluted. And I recall something vague about her participating in an /a/ sings thing, but I never looked into it)

Reimu and Enna egosearch(ed) on 4chan. Callie and Millie I'm pretty sure are, or rather were actual anons happily shitposting with the rest.
There's a LazuLight collab on Friday and Pomu said that she's very excited for it. They already had their Post-Japan Zatsudan on Finana's channel a little over a week ago so it's time to start huffing copium.

What we know so far:
• LazuLight received their second outfits in January 2022.
• LazuLight were expected to reveal their 3D models during NijiFes on Oct. 2, 2022. However, due to VISA issues, only Elira was able to show off her unfinished model.
• LazuLight spent over 3 weeks in Japan on projects that still remain unannounced.
• During the Japan zatsu, Elira said something along the lines of 'You guys think you know what is was for, but...' which implied it wasn't for 3D, or wasn't exclusively for 3D.
• This led people to believe they'd be a surprise cameo for NJU 2022, but this didn't happen.

We are now here. Best predications are the same as ever: 3D, outfit, original song yadda yadda.

The britpill is spreading. More Rin acknowledgement brings me joy. That Animal Crossing stream was a blessed kind of cursed though.

Slightly related but it's cool to see how open the jewcorp CEO is. And good to hear that they're doing better than they thought.

Altare plays the Cello, aka these big fucking things. It is like the Bass to the Violin's Guitar, thicker strings and sounds heavier in-general while being vastly unappreciated compared to its more popular cousin. He's playing the theme quite well just going off by ear, unless I missed that he grabbed sheet music somewhere.

View attachment 9523

I think he found a rendition of it from FF1 but playing it straight from the sheet wasn't hitting the same, so he just starting going by ear to try to recreate the 14 rendition. Not bad at it, but I kind of check out on music in streams.

I'm jumping ahead a few pages, but I tried to tag you when I made the post here (but couldn't). I'm really grateful for the info you shared tho, you deserve full credit.

Bae had to "apologize" over calling IRyS a bitch (in a loving way) and IRyS had to clarify that she is not avoiding the council trio at the hotel at all. I wish I could strangle faggits over the internet.

I've been reading vt because I have had off work for nearly an entire week and get bored (and got banned for like 3 days again, oh no! /s), there were probably ~2 schizos who were spamming those rrats that Bae and IRyS addressed, and people kept taking the bait so it was non-stop talk about it. I imagine there was similar retardation on twitter.

It really does confirm that IRyS is a big-time introvert though; she talked about how she slept until 10pm one day and how exhausted she is from going out nearly every day. The other Council girls are introverts too (except Bae), but I think IRyS can 'fake' being extroverted better (for example, I don't think she'd be afraid to go ask for napkins at a fast food place), but it completely wipes her out.

Bae just needs to go 100% 'Straya mode call everyone cunts, and yell at anyone trying to culture shame her.

Honestly? Yes.
If you like your Aussie vtuber you will embrace her aussie speak. The chat during the part where she explained that it was a gesture of endearment was 100% "We know". So probably a couple of schizos and no skin randos that tuned on that stream got bored and wanted to start something.

I still contend that they are likely being artificially propped up in a multitude of ways. Financial, astroturf, etc.
I have no evidence to prove it. But it fits a profile in my model of the world with enough red flags that I'm comfortable expressing the opinion.

You have to be female and just getting rid of your foreskin won't cut it.
AFAIK the Talmud specifies that if you want to be a woman, you can. I had an acquaintance, a real annoying piece of shit, who wanted to date this guy so he became trans so that it was permissible, then he got his boyfriend to go trans and he went back to being not-trans so it was all kosher. It may go some way toward explaining why so many activists involved in pushing trans stuff are Jewish compared to other demographics.

If it's /vt/ that explains it; there's a degenerate David Chapman-type on /vt/ who cannot shut up about wanting to impregnate Bae.

If by artificially propped up you mean investment money then they obviously do. Israel is a small, wealthy place that has enough investment cash to prop something like that up, probably why he started with Hebrew speaking talents. The corpo obviously makes its own money now too with the EN gen They seem to be more than competitive with other small corpos.

Epicwall of text... (what happens when I dont post for a day).

I think that the way they handled it was the least-worst way to do it. It's rigged, but in a way that everyone at PC is happy with.

Anything that was a fan vote would just be the Pippa award show, no matter how much Pippa tried to discourage people just voting for her, or how much she highlighted other members. You might have a few talents like Tenma or Lia win one or two awards, but they'll just be a footnote, if Pippa doesn't clean sweep everything. And any awards Pippa wasn't in, everyone would ask "but where's Pippa". Not good for company unity. Oh, and that would make for a really boring show too.

If you had other vtubers vote, you have similar problems as the fan vote, just on a smaller scale. People will only vote for the talents they know, or the most popular talents, and will skip over lesser-known talents when they vote. Pippa has a surprising amount of popular vtuber followers, so, again, we'd end up with the Pippa award show. And that's the better alternative to how most modern award shows end up, with politics, vote-trading and friend networks taking precedence over merit.
That's why you get the staff or talents to make it based on short clips. People do nominations and if one of the talents starts to appear way too much on the categories you curate the nominations a bit and pull them out of that category. That way you avoid shit like the Game Awards being known as "The Last of Us 2 Awards" a few years back or "God of War 2 Awards" this year. Or similar to how Crunchy Roll are known as "My Hero Academia Awards"

Sleepy really likes her model

I assume this is in relation to Idol Corp opening up auditions for EN again. Well Fishman, do you want to lose another Pippa Friend to them or what?

To be fair isn't Sleepy's issue mostly her playing Tarkov all the time and being a huge gun fanatic which wouldn't fly in most companies?
Yes, It is probably related to Idol Corp Gen 2 and people asking her if she's going to join Gen 2. Honestly, I think if she did apply, she would probably get in. As for the whole Gun thing. IdolHE has a few talents that have openly talked or mentioned guns in their streams. Hell Kattarina's opening screen and logo has guns.

In 57th Place for Hololive is Iofi, who earned $21,108. 57th Place for Nijisanji was Machita Chima, who earned $68,353. So it got me thinking about the whole 'Nijisanji leaves members to sink' so I took a look at Playboard to see how far down the list Nijisanji would have to go before the individuals reached $21,108.
Anya and Iofi are the girls that usually earn the least in Superchats. I assume it mostly has to do with them recieving a part of their donations through Streamlabs.

Here she is bullying one of the oldest members in the company.

I really enjoy her attituded. Its good to see a less reserved, loud type out there.

Her voice is very powerful too! :shiinastare: Okay now i completelly understand Titanosaurus....
She has an amazing voice. Honestly I think she has the best voice in Phase. Rie also has a good voice for singing.

Look who got done sperging out in discord

Is there a way to know how many Memberships they have on Youtube? I know that the majority of Pippa's chatters are members

Jesus fucking Christ, the gap between Vox and Luca is so massive. Koyori and Lamy's also big.
Actually surprised Kiara's up that high despite having one of the lowest viewr numbers in Hololive. Parasocial KFPs are wild.
Parasocialism + Coombaiting is king when it comes to milking your audience.

Edit: I rewrote this to try to make it less stupid. I don't think I succeeded. oh well:

I previously mentioned the person adopting the Nayvell Milkdrop character from FlaVR, posting the sigma grindset memes on youtube. I've interacted with her on discord and her behavior is erratic in a way I have never seen before. I don't know how much of it is playing a bit and how much is actually being unstable, but it is entertaining. At least twice she threatened to knife me while demanding help in getting a youtube shorts video to work. She also wanted to learn how to use ytdl-p, specifically wanting to do it through a console with green text so she would feel like a pro hacker.
Recently she apparently took advice reportedly from @Azehara about how to be a vtweeter, which was "burn bridges", so she "deleted" her twitter, (deleted all tweets, blanked out info).

@Azehara apparently the person (schizo) most recently to adopt the nayvell milkdrop character from FlaVR took some advice you reportedly gave somewhere about burning bridges in order to become a vtweeter and 'deleted' her twitter (deleted tweets, blanked out info) to achieve that.. or something.
I don't know if it's a guy or a girl, she reputedly spoke on mixie's stream but supposedly there wasn't enough to tell if it was just a soundboard or something. Whatever is actually going on, it's amusing.
She's been on the flavr fan discord, threatened to knife me a few times while demanding i help her figure out how to make a video work with youtube shorts (in her defense, she called me mumberbro after helping instead of the previous "mumberfucker"). then needed help using ytdl-p and specifically wanted to have it look like she was hacking with green text in a console instead of using something like tartube. Also said she was threatened by that Chase guy, the one thhrang posted photos of a while back.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she IS Chase based on how erratic she is, but for all I know she might actually be Andrew Tate.
Not sure how im involved in this. I don't know them other than I just follow all of the FlaVR talents on Twitter and like to reply to the shit they post. Can't remember the exact post but she mentioned her vtweeter arc going strong at 2 weeks. I just said something along the lines of Vtweeters do it for years and often attack others, burn bridges and virtue signal. If by some reason she felt identified by what I said or scared that I might know her identity, I really dont. Just generic comment on Vtweeters being a fucking plague (I know, I consider myself one).

Minna raided into calli, as Calli is her favorite vtuber iirc. Calli recognized her and FlaVR, and a lot of chat did as well. Timestamp 2:10:33:

uh-Thank you m-minna vanilla... FlaVR? Are you sure? Really? From the famous vtuber group FlaVR.
Thank you so much for the raid. Hiii! Hi. What's up? Hello raiders. Thank you so much for the raid. Let's go.
FlaVR! Is that how you pronounce..? There's a story and a half.
But thank you very much, welcome raiders, welcome welcome everyone. We're just, we're just hanging out, just reading some supers.
Also in FlaVR news, the guy who ran the kuro_company account on twitter, "kani-san", has had to hand it off to someone else. Broke kayfabe and posted a heartfelt twitlonger:

Kayfabe break. I’m about to start my last semester of my masters and really need to focus on that and getting a job. I didn’t really have the time to run this account last sem but I did it anyway, now I realllllly don’t have the time. I made this account 50 days ago and now seems like a good place to end my involvement and transfer the account to someone else (no it’s not Pippa). This whole thing was a lot of fun, pretty interesting experience, and I have way more respect for fishman now. It’s hard to believe that a bunch of randos came together on twitter and made something like this work. There’s a couple people I’d like to thank for stuff that I don’t think they get enough credit for.

@azeharaD- His fake drama tweets, mainly the Minna one, inspired me to make this account. Without that I don’t think I would’ve done this.

@Minna_Vanilla- aka 1st Minna was the first talent account and did an amazing job rp-ing as a predebut vtuber. Think they really helped set the tone for early FlaVR lore.

@DonnaDMerlot- Believe they were the 2nd person to join, made some funny tweets, also helped set a lot of FlaVR groundwork and lore.

@AzraArcane- Azra was the voice of Donna and they got a lot of underserved criticism. Originally they didn’t want to be credited, but Donna/Dounut wanted to give them a shoutout. Then some people seemed to take that as Azra trying to grift people, when she didn’t even want to be credited originally. If you liked Donna, give her a shot.

@TmpMinnaVanilla- aka 2nd Minna aka Temp is still pretty active and has been messing around with Live2D after learning it to make their own Minna model. Temp even helped Sena out with her model.

@FlavrSupport- Support contacted me out of the blue and asked if we wanted a website. He ended up buying two domains, got email set up, and managed to make a website in like 2 days. He also made a website for mpreg (https://mpreg.flavr.moe) which is a beautiful parody of another site. FlaVR makes up a lot of nonsense so I wouldn’t be surprised if people still don’t believe that pretty much everyone has an @flavr.moe email address, including the main contact one hello@flavr.moe. Support has also done a ton of behind the scenes stuff and has been working on a 2.0 version of the website with his “interns” that looks really nice.

@Bonbon_Sena- Ofc everyone knows how impressive Sena’s DIY model, but I really want to shout out stuff she does that isn’t as well acknowledged. Sena’s debut/1st stream had a deceptive amount of work put into things and as a result was one of the smoothest and funniest debuts I’ve seen. It’s wild how flawless and enjoyable that stream was. The fact that someone with no stream experience was able to pull that off can deal with a chat that active is crazy. Sena has also been doing a ton of work behind the scenes with FlaVR and has really helped keep everything together.

/fvr/- I know stroking 4chan’s ego is never a good move, but the small group keeping FlaVR’s general thread running have been churning out great designs and are really pushing the boundaries on how you can use NovelAi for vtubing. Thumbnail gen, memes, fan art, testing out alt designs, tips on how to get good image gens, and ultimately getting together a new gen of designs. Also seems to have been working as a great way to spread the word of FlaVR. New people trickle in there all the time and we’ve gotten a lot of great stuff as a result of it. Of course /fvr/ brings with it all of the usual /vt/ drawbacks and they have some truly awful takes sometimes, but on the whole /fvr/ has been a net good for us, and helped with some major things.

The Capippis- Early into FlaVR’s launch I was watching a non-pippa stream and the chuuba mentioned FlaVR and they said smth like “only Capippis would do something like that”. Idk if that was a compliment, but I took it as one about dedicated Capippis are to their projects. Capippis have a history of pretty high effort community driven projects and the bar just kept getting raised. Personally, and I’m sure this is true for a lot of other people at FlaVR, I really felt like I had to give this project my all because I know how much effort has gone into community stuff before me. I know it’s cringe but idk how many other communities FlaVR would’ve worked in. Not only do Capippis have the drive to do smth like this and help out, but Capippis also are receptive to a goofy idea like this. Think Pippa was in low 1000s when this started and the first couple FlaVR streams were getting 300+ ccv. That’s an insane chunk. So thank you for giving us a shot and for continuing to stick around and following the convoluted antics.

Pippa- Of course gotta thank the mold mama. It’s wild that she allowed for something like this to exist when it could’ve caused issues for her. But she simply stated that she wasn’t involved on twitter and let us do our thing while still giving us support. And of course without Pippa’s general encouragement of community stuff, none of us would’ve even thought about doing something as absurd as FlaVR. She’s done a great job of fostering a community that is willing to do weird stuff just for the fun of it, and a community that is willing to support these people and other aspiring creators. I know I just praised the Pippa community already but they wouldn’t be here if Pippa didn’t do such a great job building this community up.

There’s so many people who put in work on this project. We’re easily talking about 50+ people who made talent accounts, actively participated in FlaVR lore, or tweeted out fan art they made. When I started watching Pippa I always wanted to be involved in one of the big Capippi projects and I’m really happy I managed to work on one as unique and as interesting as FlaVR. I’m looking forward to seeing how FlaVR keeps evolving and the other projects that Capippis cook up in the future. Thanks for everything.

I'm sorry. I'm up past my bedtime and didn't realize how dumb what I wrote sounded.

Honestly, good for him. Hope his masters degree actually helps him get better work. For me all it gave me was debt, 2 years of my life lost and a piece of paper that hasnt meant anything.

It's also important to consider Pippa only started getting huge numbers near the later end of the year (Assuming I'm not retarded in assuming this is for the year). It makes me wonder what a full year of huge successful Pip streams would bring in.
Pippa blew up in the last 3 months of the year. If she continues the trend she could possibly be hitting 200-300 in superchats, easily. She also has a ton of shorts she seems to be releasing on a daily basis so thats some AD revenue (since all her Streams are demonetized) and add to that the membership numbers.
Additionally Pippa does get some donos from Streamlabs. I assume its about 5-10% total.

:shiinastare: SHES HERE! :shiinastare:
Hide your booze and cough sirup!!
Honestly holy shit i know Calli has been watching Pippa for a while now but with FlaVR recognition... I mean its pretty recent and probably the biggest thing Pippa did so far, but i wonder if Calli is an actual Capipi?

Also good on FlaVR anon to get a life! Wish him the very best. By the way, were you also contacted by the FlaVRsupport anon for discord?
I doubt she lurks here. This place is fairly obscure (hell even some lurkers from the farms dont even know this place exists). More likely than not she means /vt/. Also given that she might have some knowledge about Pippa, she might be aware of FlaVR.

Okay so about kronii and the unicorn debacle (sorry in advance if you don't care).
first thank you @PekoWick for her median
Second I'm not a mathematician so this is just my estimate.
So for her viewer there was a loss of 1500 to 2000 ccv, and arround 50k to 100k for vod views some times.

For memberships, her first stream has 1k likes, her two middle ones have 1.2k(may) and 1.3k(april), during tempus collabs on september 961 likes and on october 948 likes and 561 likes on her last october member stream, on november there were no collabs with men so she has 698 and 863 on her last two member streams, so at her peak she had around 1.2k and her worst was 561 likes for streams.
One of her most liked member posts is during tempus collabs it has 2.6k , and there is one with 1.6k after the collabs when irys got her new model, and another post around the same time with 2.6k likes, so for members there could be some but since the likes are all over the place, I'm not sure how many cancelled their membership.

For superchat the most i gathered from vt was this
january Ouro Kronii - $20,441
may Ouro Kronii - $19,077
july Ouro Kronii - $14,971
august Ouro Kronii - $32,281
september Ouro Kronii - $13,040
october Ouro Kronii - $12,502
november Ouro Kronii - $20,945
which her average is around 20k, and july being her worst pre tempus because of her moving houses and going to AX with her friends.
Then her other worst ones (september and october) were during the tempus collab spam and lack of solo streams.

So to summarize she did lose a chunk of money and viewers, which can be attributed to two things, the average fan leaving due to covid easing up, and unicorns leaving her.
BUT WORRY NOT, a decent portion of her unicorn paypigs moved on to a better more caring home, they I SHIT YOU NOT moved from kronii to Dottovu a way better choice for any unicorn obviously.
I wold say her real average is closer to 17k and not 20k. That 32,281 from August seems like an anomaly and it deviates way too much from the norm. Don't think there has been a significant loss in superchat that could be attributed to unicorn spergout and it mostly has to do with ups and downs in the trend.

Pretty big indie vtuber MahouShoujoRiri (@KiramekiRiri) is graduating, she is followed on Twitter by Prof. Lando, Millie Parfait and Hyde (big name vtuber artist)

So she might be in IdolEN2?

I finally started to check out Idol-EN after the collab with Pippa a few days back, and I feel like catching up on the Yuko Yurei vods is helping fill the Gura-less void as background entertainment while I work. It certainly helps that she's a fan of the shark herself, even if these early streams are her possibly leaning too hard into the inspiration. Hopefully, she can come into her own more as she gets more comfortable.

Rin Penrose is also entertaining with a vaguely similar sense of wonder that Sana once had, but I do not expect her to fill those shoes. Nobody can.

Sana love.
The fact that Yuko is channeling big Gura energy and Gura has been MIA for a while possibly has helped her drastically.

Nene is so far ahead of the rest of Kawaii, it's wild. I just can't figure out why!

Completely unrelated:

Sava doubled in subs in the last month or two. Aletta has also impressed me with how much she has grown. I remember asking about Oceanne and why did she grow so much which someone mentioned the Youtube nuking her channel probably got many eyes on her. Aletta was about 10k subs behind. Now they are both tied in subs.

Look at gen 3 number difference. And especially on Aletta. Her subscriber count is something really surprising lately.

Wtf happened? Went from 200 daily to 1-2k. Thats a 900% increase.

Yuko and Rin are definitely the most popular of their gen by sub count (Yuko by a large margin), and I would say they are the most entertaining of the bunch as well, Rin especially for being, well, whatever the hell a Rin is. I'd throw a bone to Juna Unagi as well, she has a bit of a debuff in subcount for whatever reason but she has both that cozy mommy energy and a good sense of humor, and especially gets along well with her genmates. Can't comment on Pochi and Fuyo since I don't really watch them at all.
Fuyo is amazing but its hard for me to catch her. I often watch her at work for a bit. I havent been able to catch Juna and Pochi due to timezones but I really liked Juna on her first few streams because she is a dork but at the same time very chill to listen to.

Sleepy has a really high CCV because of some Twitch Drops shit.

Damn this is huge. Hope she gets some more eyes on her. Both Sleepy and Wiskey are really great to watch.

I still contend that they are likely being artificially propped up in a multitude of ways. Financial, astroturf, etc.
I have no evidence to prove it. But it fits a profile in my model of the world with enough red flags that I'm comfortable expressing the opinion.

I don't have any reason to doubt him. IdolHE was a bit of a test run on a smaller more controlled market. They didn't go as hard with them as they did for EN. All of the EN girls are over 20k in 2 months of streaming. Some of the smaller corpos have talents that take over a year to hit the 10k mark. A Very Good return on investment for a good/profitable business is usually around 2-3 years. The average is 4-5. As long as the talents are fine with their growth and their share of the revenue if they keep doing this for 2 years, just on Ad Revenue and Memberships the company should start making a profit.

Now for some hypothetical math exercise with some:
I would assume that something along the lines of $150,000 was invested in getting these girls off the ground (could be more, could be less just going off Miao numbers). These girls should be getting around $1,000 in Ad Revenue alone per channel. That's $5k A month. When it comes to superchats and memberships. If they stay as is, I could easily see them turning a profit solely on Ad Revenue after 3 years.

This is all hypothetical and I'm just assuming that they are only digging into the Ad revenue and not into Superchats or Memberships. I'm guessing that the additional amount goes into paying staff and managers. Sponsored streams, advertisement deals and merch will also come into play later on.
