I don't wish her ill (to any of the graduates except rushia tbh) But it is clear to me just how messed up her work ethic is, pulling a Doki actually requires being consistent so the fan transition is as seamless as possible, this will only lead to filtering the casuals and keeping the deranged obsessives.

I think the reactions will depend a lot on what she does in the weeks after debuting: If she actually streams and has a consistent schedule then I can see her getting on the same level as Nimi, otherwise chumbuds will never live down the meme. If she does Nimi's merch stunt plus ghosting her audience I will laugh so fucking hard

Fair, I wish more people were this nuanced with their take rather than "one side is 100% at fault".

I feel this a lot around the discourse in the modern Vtuber sphere. Like maybe I have just been focused on one section and things are good in general, but for me it feels like an ever increasing competition of who can say/do the dumbest thing possible to keep themselves in the focus of attention to the point that any sort of nuance is completely fucking discarded for the sake of getting more attention. So I really appreciate spaces like this where some sort of nuance can be found.
