Kanna's opening the Dragon Ball TCG
I was hoping she'd cross the 50k subscriber mark before making this post, but she's not quite there yet.
Poma's doing a different kind of bird watching
It saddens me but the game has reached the Internet mouth breather fanbase critical mass where it can do no wrong and you get bullied it you think otherwise. Tune in in a few months for the inevitable backlash where the general opinion will be that it's incredibly overrated, especially if it wins the big industry prizes

Speaking of which, Bae will start playing it... at 3 AM my time.
Time to prepare the essentials
They specifically mention Vtubers in the Creators part of their "Who We Work With" section.Odin Law. This is the company she hired to handle it all.
Armchair is a dramafag in name only. He takes a recent piece of drama and turns it into something that makes you thunk and explains how badly the parties involved fucked up using what he learned off of his Media/Journalism degree.I wouldn't say he devolved into this just yet. Katliente and UTT are pure dramafags. False still have his head above the water. Even armchair is more of a dramafag IMO.

I must admit I'm a bit disappointed with the writing, but that's mostly because people were glazing it so hard I was almost expecting the second coming of Disco Elysium, so that's on me. That and one of its inspirations is one of the modern classics of 21st century French sci-fi, which funnily enough I'm in the middle of re-reading, and which Clair Obscur doesn't really stack up against. I talked about it in the videogame thread:The game is overrated but it's flaws are miniscule enough that it's nice just have a super solid game. But lots of its innovative designs are just old shit normies don't know about. And the faces are jank most of the time. Yeah they're good scans but they just look around and have the same expression most of the time. It's the closest a AA has skirted to feeling AAA, is its charm.
I've been playing it and holy shit it's making me so happy to see a French game that's not only this mechanically satisfying, but that it proudly wears its local cultural influences on its sleeve instead of trying to pass itself as some globalised grey mush. And of its game predecessors of course, it's a JRPG after all.
I wonder if they'll do a sequel (I'm early in the game so I have no idea if the ending leaves the door open for one) or if they'll move into a different IP with similar mechanics. I'd love to see them make an adaptation of La Horde du Contrevent, a French fantasy/sci-fi novel that's obviously one of Clair Obscur's biggest influences. Stop me if you've seen a similar synopsis before:
https://www.frenchrights.com/the-horde-of-counterwind
Within the deafening noise of the wind, on the Lower Slopes, an elite group of twenty-three children were raised for the sole purpose of facing the ever-blowing gusts, climbing up windwards for the rest of their lives. Their only purpose: to find the mysterious source of the wind in the Upper Reaches. There have been thirty-three attempts in eight hundred years, thirty-three Hordes that have failed.
The Horde of Counterwind follows the twenty-three members of the thirty-fourth – and most likely last – Horde. Predominately told by Sov, the Horde’s scribe, Damasio plunges us directly into the daily preparation of these children who must focus on and gather their strengths while coping with their differences, their love and hate for one another. Each Horde member has their own strong and assertive personality and a very precise duty in the Horde that they occupy during training and missions.
The author alternates between breathtaking descriptions of the unique and bewildering world he created – ruled by seven types of wind, classified by their forces – and intensely rhythmic dialogues that makes us as much a member of the Horde as any of the characters. As the story progresses, the suspense intensifies around Golgoth the trailbreaker, Erg the defender, Oroshi the aeromaster and the rest of the group, for they must face not only the unpredictability of nature, but also enemies from other clans determined to see their defeat.
Brilliantly mixing genres, Alain Damasio adds a philosophical and political touch to his work, freely inspired by French Theory thinkers. The Horde of Counterwind is a best-selling dystopian literary novel with a large, adoring, and dedicated fan base.
The novel has never been published in English, but according to that page a translation exists that was pitched to EN publishing houses. There's even a sample of the first chapter:

The concept lends itself rather well to a similar game, as long as you trim the amount of playable characters from all members of the horde to just the main characters.

And the best part is that the author, Alain Damasio, is one of the co-founders of Dontnod. He left the studio to keep writing novels, but he still does some concept writing for them and he's given his blessing to adaptations of the book to other media before, like comics and an animation film that didn't pan out.
Shiori will be playing Blue Prince in a 30 minutes.
Kanna 50k karaoke. Not really an endurance one, she'll just sing until she stops feeling like it even if she doesn't make it. She should though, only 40 subs left.

Oh, Blue Prince is extremely Shiori-coded. I'm definitely watching that one when the karaoke ends.
I mean... it's French. I was never playing it to begin with.Exactly as soon as everyone started comparing it to persona but with adults I knew the fanbase for this game was going to be obnoxious as fuck and later on when
I found out the story was a metaphor for grief, loss, and the inability to move on that's when I realized we had the perfect recipe for cancer
Well that kills my theory of her just sticking to shitposting she seems to really want to pursue a career on her own terms I now envision Studio Doob getting some clientele in the futureSomeone on Reddit found this, not sure how legit this is.

His last stream basically shitting on a large part of his corpo hater viewership definitely challenges the dramakek allegations.Armchair is a dramafag in name only. His stuff usually takes 2-3 weeks to pop up - he's not an ambulance chaser like these other guys. That's why I find his stuff interesting.

If Neo-Gura debuts with merch like Nimi we'll know it was planned and it isn't really "fame and pressure". It's her freedom to make bad decisions and her simps choice to keep supporting someone in for the profit, I will still laugh at the outcome and concede @NeneLOVE a pardon for being a corporate shill.
Speaking of that, the new Suisei MV, Kireigoto, is pure cinema, I think COVER started funding her videos or some shit because the staff is absolutely stacked, with ATRI director and animators from Elusive Samurai
Another Suisex W because the song is great.
