It's a direct shot at Cover because every retard and their mother believes the nonsensical rrat that the investors have some kind of power of the company despite there being -200% proof of that.>muh investors
This is some of the most shameless pandering shit imaginable and I cannot fucking stand the fact that it still gets humoured by people who either have a radical socialist agenda, or in most cases just don't know better, because they're inexperienced late-teens/early 20-somethings who never took any kind of business or economic courses and take the big bad investor boogeyman at face value.
From their reddit post thing apparently the CEO guy is funding it himself, so I guess the whole corpo hinges solely on his bank account. This is probably a shorthand to say they're not planning on going public... which cool, plenty of other vtuber corpos are privately owned too, so that's not a unique selling point. But any business venture needs some kind of start-up capital - where is the money coming from? Can you afford the start-up costs plus the day-to-day maintenance costs? Small corpo vtubers tend to grow very slowly so it'll be a long time before they're covering their own costs and you're back in the green - how long can you afford to bleed cash promoting and paying managers for 2views before you run out?
Why do you need to think about any of these things when you can just market yourself as a "good guy" by claiming you aren't going to do anything people complain about? Even though audiences in this industry are half-braindead and generally only want to be doped up on a constant stream of makebelief internet relationships.I would absolutely love to sit down with one of these "we're not like most girls, we have talent freedom and transparency" CEOs and ask the kinds of questions that, realistically, any applicant who makes it to interview should be asking. How do you plan to market the talents? What do you plan to do in regards to growth? What do you want the company to look like in a year's time, and how do you plan to get there? What safeguarding measures are in place?
