I love the implication that MGS was somehow bigger than the NBA or Sanrio but im willing to bet is that the promo would've been only Nina and Pomu at best (did Pomu have MGS autism before Nina left?) and the golden boys didnt want to do it. So they just told her that as a shitty excuse

I talked about it in Niji Ls but it's possible that they floated it with their favorites (clique)/biggest number talents at the time and everyone respectively tried to hand it to Pomu and management never actually told Pomu about it despite everyone pushing it towards her. She would've also had a 2nd big opportunity at the same time which is probably the only thing they told her about.
