Kiara doesn't vaguepost about stuff that doesn't concern her. There was no vagueposting when Ame or Fauna announced their departures. I generally don't think this recent episode here has anything to do with her Hololive work. The most negative thing she had to say about Cover coming back from the trip is that they changed how they pay for her flights. Instead of paying the tickets upfront, she now gets reimbursed.
Her recent trip to Japan seems to have gone well, overall. She was able to bond really well with her new Main-manager Ponma, Ponma even gave Kiara a letter that she read during the flight and teared up. She also mentioned that she already had several meeting to plan her compensation 3D live, the Birthday 3D Live and they are also already setting up the Myth 3D live. So to anyone thinking Gura is out, I dont feel that yet.
One of her dates that she had planned fell through, but she doesnt seem to be too bummed about it. Kiara mentioned that the EN branch specifically is getting a lot of new talent managers. There is one guy who is apparently in charge of all of Myth, Kiara likes him because he gives her gifts when they meet.
Kiara did say that Summer of 2025 is looking busy again, but also feels confident that she will get through it. She even already has plans lined up for 2026. She teased that there will be a Kiara M&G in America soon.
Whatever it is that she had on her mind during the flight and even afterwards, doesn't seem to be something about her work. Lets not forget that Kiaras mental is weak and there could be 1000 other things that might send her down spiraling. And she talked about thinking about getting therapy plenty of times on stream before, this is not at all a new or unexpected development. If anything, the fact that she is getting therapy and not just using her cats as an emotional sponge is the surprising development. She talked about being depressed and drowning herself into work on and off for at least 6 months or so.
Kiara has a big trust issues towards doctors, especially male ones who dont take her or her chronic shoulder pain seriously. She basically has given up on treating it and is now just spending abhorrent amounts of money on massages to linder the pain a bit.
Going forward, this is my biggest fear, she will have done 3 meetings with the shrink and if she still doesn't feel better, just give up on it, because she often does expect some kind of miracle remedy.
She needs a girlfriend. Nerissa and Reine come and do your job. Not me though, Any one else.
