Total subs over multiple groups is a retarded metric to judge anything on for so many reasons. First, they have approximately four hundred talents under their umbrella, which means they average 60k subs per talent. That's a far less impressive number, a more important number, given that companies need to have so many managers per talent, and puts them behind companies like Vshojo and even Phase Connect (which averages 80k subs per talent). Second, I haven't seen anything that would put them with Nijisanji or Hololive in terms of the scope of the events they've run, the merch they have on offer, their social reach or so forth. There's a definite step-down in tier to Brave Group.
But, at the end of the day, what really matters for a business is how profitable it is. Given the lack of transparency about their profitability and repeated solicitation of funding, I doubt that they're breaking even at the moment.
