Sakana had a chat Merryweather, he arrived late

Okay, finished watching this stream. Overall, it's not worth watching. Sakana has some interesting things to say (I liked how he talked about how further along the JP market is, and consequently, how things that would gather decent interest in EN would be much less interesting to JP viewers, like animations and so forth, because they see the same thing all the time.) Merryweather doesn't, because he doesn't really have a business, so much as a money sink which he uses to get people to like him in a way that would embarrass Elon Musk.

So, here's my complaint. Merryweather brings up Pippa four times and no other talents at Phase get a mention from him. He makes a joke about bad auditions, saying "for example [of a bad audition], Pippa". Merryweather jokingly requests Sakana unprivate Pippa the Rippa. He says Pippa didn't respond to a message he sent her (gee, wonder why). Lastly, he tries to revise history where he shat on Pippa on that clip previously linked. He doesn't bring up any other talent at Phase Connect, only the most popular one, and he always does this unprompted. While anyone is more than welcome to joke at Pippa's expense, Merryweather's previous opinions on Pippa, coupled with him not even mentioning any other Phase talents, really shows Merryweather to be the clout-chasing fag that he is. Fuck off, you slimy shit.

That was a series of skits that lead up to Michi's announcement. The whole thing was apparently her idea and she wrote some of the scripts too. I don't know if she had anything to do with the casting though.
