So I want to change the topic from vagueposting and other usual posting for a minute to make a serious question. Have you guys ever dropped an oshi or stopped watching them not because they graduated but because they changed their streams, content, or just because things that seemed fun or liked about them at first turned annoying after? or because you lost interest?
Edit: I guess I'd like to also add, did you stop them watching permanently or returned later? or watch them but less frequently? Also just to be clearer by oshi I mean like a Vtuber you really respected or watched a lot, like one of if not your favourite
The only vtuber that would fit this criteria for me would be Nerissa. Early favorite of Advent for her singing, but came to the realization that watching "she's literally me fr fr" just wasn't that entertaining. Now ERB is doing all the karaoke I thought Nerissa would be doing; I'd just rather throw up a Shiori or Bau stream on hdex for my Advent fix.

- Mori, she was my favorite design out of Myth but then she picked up the english teacher cadence and it was kind of meh afterwards, nowadays alot of her streams are perfectly watchable though
- Pippa, even her filter streams used to be fun but now they're pretty meh. The ones where she actually puts an effort in are still pretty good tho
- Randon/Vesper i kind of miss his banter with the boys and his current schedule no longer jives with mine
- All of NijiEN shortly after fox-hag left, i enjoyed clips of them back in their hayday, even the males, but then the cracks started to show with Vox being retarded, Fujos, Wumaos, and the general faux unity felt off after Nina fucked off
- Nina/Matara: autistic dislike for twitch

Rat and duck zatsu starting soon!

It was a pretty great time as always when these two get together. Bae said Subaru was her oshi before joining Holo which was cute cause Flare said the same thing. They talked about Bae's dancing, their first impressions, the origin of JDON and some other stuff.
1000151994.jpg

Bae's first impression of Subaru was through a clip of her playing Tsunomaki Janken by herself, which Subaru thought was weird. Subaru's first impression was that she thought Bae was weirdly unique in a good way. Between how loud she was and the whole chaos thing, she felt like they could be similar. They also talked about Bae's dancing and how good it is. She can memorize a choreography in 1 hour where the average is usually 3 hours.

They also talked about Bae moving to Japan, how much worse her English has gotten and how much closer she's gotten to Towa since then. Towa usually calls it gross when Bae fawns over her but Subaru said she knows Towa's happy about it. They also talked about being nervous and what to do when it happens. Bae said she can swallow down the nerves and use them to pump herself up before a live. Subaru said she'll just yell about how nervous she is and get it out of her that way.

Bae said she was scared of Calli the most when she first started. Not cause of anything Calli did but cause Bae wanted the wigger to like her so much, that she was terrified of what happened if she didn't. But that ended pretty quick when she saw how kind and cool the wigger was. Same thing happened with Suisei and Towa.

Bae also shared a funny story where her mom and a relative's kid came to spend time together this week. Bae was half-asleep on the couch and the kid climbed on top of her and shouted "BAE IS DEAD" as loud as possible. After a week of dealing with this creature, Bae decided she didn't want to have kids anymore.
:BijouBijou:

An hour is great for these 1-on-1 chats but I do wish it was longer cause I could watch them shoot the shit all day. Next up is FuwaMoco, who Bae picked cause she thinks they're opposites and wants to see how it'll go. I'm looking forward to it since Subaru knows how evil the twins can be after HoloGTA.

I also realized that I've summarized these chatting streams a few times before and I'll probably keep doing it, so I'll just put the posts in a list going forward.

Not sure why they can't just say it was a Visa issue, shit like that happens sometimes. At least they communicated it, though.
They consider it personal information, probably explicitly announcing that she's not Japanese would cost her some fans as dumb as that is. Also the main reason for a visa process that's not just a straight up renewal would be if she's switching to a spouse visa :baeJam:
Are japs as anal about what you say or do before you renew your Visa as americans sometimes get?
No except when they are. Enforcement is very random. But someone in her position absolutely doesn't want to take a risk.
All because Cover messed up some part of her Visa documentation or something like that.
Visa processing times are unprecedentedly terrible at the moment. Even if she's blaming the company it could be something like: they delivered some documents weeks after she asked, but within what should be plenty of time according to the official processing times.

Something interesting I saw was someone guessing she entered with a Visa under pretense that she was working as her artist persona and that fucked up the renewal process. Not sure whether there is any proof to that, though. I thought this trip was mostly for her holo persona and would have thought she would have applied under that pretense.

Bae knows how to pick her oshis. She picked Subaru and Roberu first in her list of who she watched on her debut stream and went on to meet and make good friends with them and talked about how lucky she was that they were so nice to her. Calli, as well, was undoubtably her EN oshi pre-debut and they have become so close that Calli refers to her as a best friend. Glad she went against "don't meet your heroes" and it turned out so well for her. :pomuLove:

Also, you forgot about how Subaru always sees Bae in the studio when she goes lately and one time Bae wasn't looking great, so she asked her "Bae, are you okay? Did you take a bath?" as if her having not taken a bath would have affected how tired she was :SelenHAHAhere:

Bae made sure to confirm she was taking a bath so as to not worry her senpai, though.

It's not a visa issue. But don't worry, she'll be back soon. Doctors said we should be careful in the first trimester.
Visa processing times are unprecedentedly terrible at the moment. Even if she's blaming the company it could be something like: they delivered some documents weeks after she asked, but within what should be plenty of time according to the official processing times.
Specifically, work visa renew used to take 4-8 weeks. Applying for it to be renewed automatically gives a 2 month extension so your visa status would be seamless.
Now processing times are like 8-12+ weeks, but the extension is the same 2 months, so it's pretty likely that you'd have to switch to a tourist visa (90d/180d) while waiting for the work visa to be processed.
There's also the entire seishain (regular employees) vs various types of contractor arrangements that basically leads to the immigration office putting greater scrutiny on the company and foreign worker. This sort of gets into rrat territory.

Should I even ask :dokiWTF:

I dropped DK (from V&U) after she had multiple streams in a row where she wasted at least hour doing extremely basic troubleshooting in games she was planning to play. :cursedpeko:
Here is the answer you seek.

TLDR had massive tits, hated them, and cut them off the second she got the chance.

Kanade is too powerful in 3D. 2D just limited her kusogaki powers too much!

Imagine Zuni's voice trying to do sexy ASMR.

If she does ditch EIEN, that'll be the second corpo in a row she's jumped ship from. Before EIEN she was Zekki Kanis with RealCorp, but she left there suddenly with no explanation from her or the corpo - in the middle of a subathon or donothon (can't recall which). I was glad (at the time) when I found out she landed on her feet in EIEN.

Interesting, I actually wasn't familiar with Zumi's PL - I'm just a newfag who only started paying attention to the scene and not just watching streams when Kilia announced her graduation so I could follow her to her reincarnation. I feel bad for Zumi though, from what I can tell when gen 2 debuted EIEN still seemed to be doing fairly well, but even if they don't lose Navi and/or Zumi I feel like they'll need something big to revitalize them. Compared to the other groups participating in VSMP and other small corpo unity events like Kanna's karaoke relay they seem to be floundering. Hopefully if Zumi is indeed heading elsewhere it'll actually stick this time.

I haven't watch much of Navi and only a bit of Zumi but I didn't see VAllure type of content from them. Mirri and Blaise do more of that stuff(tbh Blaise just feetposts afaik).

Yeah on further consideration you're definitely right, I don't think either of those two would fit in with VAllure's content (honestly not sure Kilia would either for that matter) so not sure what the deal with the Shibi donations is.

If it was fairy Ichika level of tits you can cut away half and still end up with so much boobs that everyone will be jealous. Except far less strain on your health and they will not look like absolute garbage when you hit 40+

Rin:
Just a matter of unfortunate timing. Rin has been the same britbong, shark-loving dumbfuck since debut and I appreciate that she knows herself well enough to keep her content consistent. I used to be able to watch her timeslot at work/keep it in the background with no issues, but I got a promotion last year that made it much harder to keep up with her streams. I'm glad for the extra money to feed my family buy more merch, but I do miss tuning into this decaying mess and seeing her rant about sharks. Same thing with Ceci, who I'd love to watch more as she's my favorite Justice member.

Pikamee:
I kept up with her for 2 years from debut to about mid-2022? I loved her energy and how excited she was about everything. Watching her English improve the way it did over a year was genuinely amazing. And the VOMS girls all felt like comfortable best friends, which made every spontaneous collab and random moment that much better. But Monoe got terminated about a year in and the comfy group vibe never really felt the same, even after Miuneru and Ryugon joined. Then Pika started streaming on Twitch, got that terrible isekai model and did much more react content, at which point my watch time dropped hard.

I'd still tune in occasionally but Sana and Gura were the EN vtubers I was watching most during 2021-2022, then Rin after that. Pikamee became Henya last year, went exclusively to Twitch, Advent debuted and it was over from there. While I'm happy for how successful she's been as Henya and how Vshojo has given her everything she's wanted, Henya literally amplified everything that got me to stop watching Pikamee. Still though, I really hope her health issues get better soon. During the very rare times I take a look at Twitch, it makes me smile to see her there as a high 4-view.

I think that's it for chuubas I've dropped. I don't ever see myself dropping Subaru, Towa or Mio :pomuLove:
