I can think of at least two talents in Phase who will only go through with this if they have a full cosplay matching their avatar ready.

I know Lia's roommate expressed interest in doing a Lia cosplay to celebrate getting to 100k, and given her background, she definitely could pull it off. However, I think she's only brought it up maybe once of twice over the last year so I'm not sure if she's interested in it anymore. Generally I am against fleshposting above the shoulders, but in Lia's case, the allure of seeing her telling me to kill myself while shrieking and pacing all over the room is too much to deny.

It's kinda nice to look back on these older talks and see what's changed. In the 2 years since, Subaru told one of her normie friends about being in Hololive and they'll check in with each other frequently. She was terrified of having to explain her visual novel Hologra and the ARK pregnancy stuff earlier in the year since both were trending on Twitter. She also still has the same maid from back then, but they've gotten close enough that she knows Subaru's habits inside-out and will clean/cook around her perfectly. The duck has called her a 3rd mom multiple times by now.

Every time someone confuses them it get's more obvious how stupid it is to have so many competing award shows for fucking livestreaming of all things.

The Streamer Awards (the one Doki has been nominated for) are Awards solely for streamers and livestreamed content organized by QTCinderella and Ludwig's production company Offbrand.

These awards are a lot more community oriented, the category requirements are technically unbiased, but are obviously influenced by the circles in which nominations and final voting get advertised and talked about the most.

The Streamys are corporatized awards for both livestreamed AND on demand content. They are organized by a corporate entity and they have an entire host of categories aimed at sponsors and industry partners. They also have a VTuber award, which Gura won last.

Many of the categories are filled with nominees a regular YouTube and twitch audience wouldn't even recognize since they cast their net way too wide in my opinion.
Also, I think it might be dead. The last one happened August 2023 and there has been no news since.
