The Pippa bagstard collab is all but forgotten. Oh, yeah, no one remembers Pippa saying she was waiting on management to get back to her in regard to bagstard after he raided or superchatted or membered her, and that management was probably just too busy with con shit to answer her. Either that collab happens soon/eventually when things calm down on Pippa's end or a blacklist actually does exist for some people. Pippa is a self admittedly bad judge of character, I'd probably blacklist some of her friends if I was fishman. Of course, if she didn't ask, she'd probably just collab and then deal with getting in trouble after, or maybe she just collabs anyway, even if she was told no.

In all likelihood there's not so much a blacklist on Pippa's friends as much as there is just an understanding that Pippa rolls with a much "rougher" side of the internet that Phase doesn't want to be their entire brand. Fishman said openly some time ago he approaches talents differently in terms of what he lets slide and what he doesn't, because he takes things like their demographics and streaming style into account.

I wouldn't doubt he's iffy on Kirsche just because she's basically a commentary VTuber at this point, and the fish wants Phase to essentially be a spicier Hololive.

He's likely not blacklisting anyone, but I bet money he is saying "think twice before you collab with XYZ" or "really consider if you want to collab with this type of VTuber and what that'll do to your brand."

I wouldn't be shocked if a lot of them think to themselves "do I want to attract a crowd like Pippa has" and immediately answer "no." That's probably informing their decisions more than anything.

Honestly? I don't agree with that, Niji was much closer to Holo than phase will ever be. Phase is like an edgier, off-brand version of 2020-2021 era HoloEN (as most small EN startups from that era were) now they have become their own genre onto themselves, to the point were I see new corpos and indies trying a lot more like phase than Holo.
