Lamy had a short stream earlier talking about her health issues and how her break will be continuing.

• She apologized for canceling all her planned streams (The concert watchalong, her Mario Kart tournament appearance and a sponsored stream). The sponsors sent her some merch as a get-well gift so she was grateful for them.
• Asked clippers to be careful and try not to clickbait or cause misunderstandings.
• Said to not ask any other Holomens about her. She's only talked to some of them about it and doesn't want anyone to be bothered.
• From the beginning of December, she had a bad fever. She went to the hospital and confirmed it wasn't a flu or COVID. However, there were signs of inflammation due to elevated CRP levels
• They initially thought it was just a bad cold so they gave her some medication and told her to relax. The full results of the examination took a long time to get back and she wasn't getting any better, so she returned to the hospital.
• This time, they gave her a blood test and after she pushed them a bit, they told her the results could be emailed the very next day.
• The results confirmed that her overall internal health was in dismal shape. She would have to make appointments to visit multiple specialists. She underwent a lot of testing after that and is currently waiting for results.
• While she was doing that, the hospital contacted her about her initial results. She had really bad inflammation in one of her organs that was caused by a virus. She's always had a weak immune system which made everything worse.
• Essentially, she just needs to take it easy and rest while waiting for the other results to get back. While the inflammation is getting better, she still has to worry about her internal health and what caused the virus to appear in the first place.
• She currently feels fine but doesn't know how long it's going to last. It's frustrating because she does want to stream but it's better to wait for all her results before fully committing to Holo stuff.
• The plan is to wait for the inflammation to heal, then start further treatment once she gets all her results back. She has a lot of checkups planned for January so she'll be visiting multiple hospitals. She'll update her fans on twitter as more info is known.
• She already got some info back. Like how she had to get a mammogram because of a noticeable calcification in her chest area. She didn't even know about it until the hospital told her. She'll have to get it checked frequently to ensure it's not serious.
• She has more details to share when she returns but her manager said she could only stream for 30 minutes so she stopped there.
• She lives alone so she was worried about what would happen if she collapsed outta nowhere. She also has her cat to think about. So she made a LINE chat with Marine and Noel (they all live in the same apartment building) and will talk there every day to let them know that she's fine. It's basically an "Is Lamy Alive" chat.
• Her diet's been good. Just veggies, meat and rice. She's eating more than usual. too.
• She was surprised because this happened outta nowhere without any symptoms. If she had just left things alone, it would have been much worse. She recommended for chat to get frequent checkups as well. Especially if you're over 25.
• Her comeback stream should ideally be sometime in January. In the meantime, she'll be sleeping, signing merch and watching Netflix.
• TLDR she caught a bad fever at the start of the month. Turns out one of her organs got a terrible inflammation. Finds out in the process that her overall internal health is abysmal and undergoes multiple tests. Her inflammation is healing but currently waiting for all her results before coming back to streaming. Her fever is better and she currently feels fine, just sad that she can't stream.

She also clarified on twitter that despite her alcoholic reputation, her issues weren't caused by too much drinking or her longtime meds.
