Im just saying could have worded differently. Like Ina just said "It was very last minute" and that would have suffice instead of harping on "optional" and "didn't know everyone was there", copy pasting to a tee.

The bit with the other members was planned relatively late, so Ame didn't have time. Ina also didn't expect so many people to pitch in since it was an optional thing for people to do if they had some free time.

I think that was just due to her being the breadwinner of the family, so they gradually decide to pass all the decision-making to her. Remember, there is no father in the family (this has been implied for a long time with how rarely she brought up "father Watson" in the story, but it was straight-out confirmed during the one time she tried to converse with JP-niki, with her saying her family consists of her, her 2 brothers, her mother and her aunt). Though at the same time, I wonder what are the jobs of her 2 brothers...

Didn't one of her brothers have a bit of a criminal history?

Counterratt here, I'd say it's actually Kiara/Calli's idol ambitions that drove the group apart (their schedule becomes stacked on top of spamming JP/non-holo collabs for networking). The NijiEN streamer stays close with each other because noone really have idol ambitions and just happy to play games with each others.

Woah hold it right there, that's going a tad far.

Firstly, I'm not so sure if Ame even had a clique back when she was an indie. Almost all of not-Ame clips I've came across on YT were from solo streams, with only a few of them of her playing with her ex-bf apparently. The only content creator I know she used to be close with was Silvervale and yet I couldn't find any collab streams between them.Ame does have a very good opsec in that she never talked about hanging out with anyone besides her Hololive friends and families, so it's hard for me to completely deny that possibility, I just find it very unlikely.

Secondly, like what others have said, despite idol dreams and whatnot, both Kiara and Calli still stream often and even collab within EN a lot. I heavily doubt they will not immediately jump to collab with Ame if she even ask, especially Kiara. (Ame never did collab much with Calli even from the beginning anyway)

Ame, very likely went back to play with her old Twitch cliche because she can't find any Myth to play games with and none of them just happens to be streaming (e.g. I bet biboo still regularly plays with her old FF14 cliche, just that they finished their OPSec/none of them streams).

Same thing happens with HoloJP, their idol ambitions drove genmates apart and they found new groups to interact with due schedule misalignment/marketting, it just happens that those new groups are within hololive/niji/vspo that we don't see them disappear off the grid. Ame had less option to choose from as NijiEN/HoloEn got a weird collab lockdown until very recently.

Gen 2 is so far apart they collab less than Myth this year and already memed and acknowledged themself as Exodia.
Even gen 6 with how close they are is seeing laplus forming her own cliche off holoX. There is an alternate universe where all her valorant friends doesn't stream and she just fuck off to nowhere like Ame. It's an issue that persist within the entire company due idol ambitions.

Gen 5 is the only exception with how close they are and how hard they got ass blasted at the beginning.

I wouldn't quite go that far, but Myth is in an interesting spot in that they joined in 2020. The Idol thing was still relatively new (1st Holofes was two months before English auditions started), Hololive had become famous not for music but for funny game clips (Korone, Pekora), music focussed talents were languishing (Suisei back then was towards the end of the pack, AZKi lives even in 2021 hit singledigit thousands in CCV, Sora had long since been surpassed).

Kiara being idolbrained was of course all in on the idol thing, new as it was, and nowadays complains about not being able to do more of it. Ame by comparison, I don't think it's unreasonable to believe that she thought the idol thing was more window dressing than anything serious, and was in it for streaming/tech.

Cue Corona ending, and suddenly the idol thing hits the foreground really hard (if still not as hard as Kiara would like it to), and Ame being less than enthusiastic about that.

That's not Calli and Kiara driving the gen apart, but it is people with different interests doing things differently. And it's not hard to see how Cover pushing the idol line can make people less interested in it also making them less enthusiastic about Cover activities in general.

Also maybe a bit of imposter syndrome. "They're doing all this stuff, while I'm sitting here streaming and little else." That "Little Else" includes giving Kiara her first 3D concert notwithstanding.
