Finally got through the Lumi + Pippa stream with guest appearance by Clio from a few days ago. Some interesting bits of info/moments:

• Clio's done coke before
• Not only has Clio had a gun pointed at her by the British army, she was also stabbed/slashed by a chav.
• Lumi and Pippa watched pieces of the show Friends because they had never seen it before and wanted to try it out. Unsurprisingly, it didn't take them long to realize the show is overhyped and boring as fuck.
• Pippa and Lumi weren't fans of the show Parks and Recreation because they feel it's a lame/bootleg version of The Office. Lumi went on to state that "They made it too late, and they couldn't make any, like, really bigoted jokes anymore". Once again, showing she has a top notch sense of humor
• Lumi once dealt with the infamous chirping smoke detector for hours, but because she's a pale white woman (presumably), she decided to do something about it. And because she's a pale white woman (presumably), the solution was to DoorDash a ladder from Home Depot to fix it. Pippa recommended smacking it with a broom handle until it stops. • Lumi and Pippa discussed black face in American sitcoms from the past. At one point, Lumi says "Something, something Trudeau."

I'm sure there's more notes worth adding, but these are the main ones I can think of right now. May add more later. Was a very fun stream, as are all streams with Lumi and Pippa. Clio added to the mix added even more fun. And like many of her streams with Pippa, Lumi somehow makes herself sound like more of a tard in this than normal.

The show had the "Archie Bunker" problem. They made a character they didn't like and tried to mock him and his ideology by making him a turbo-stereotype. He ended up being one of the most popular characters in the show.

It's like how leftist comic book writers will manage to get their hands on the Punisher. They'll try to make him a monster but they end up making him super based. It's really fucking funny how often that happens.

They did at times admit that he had a point; when the city went bankrupt and they brought in the emergency managers to cut the budget and people were afraid he might lose his job, Robe Lowe's character even stated "What? No! He's the last person we'd fire; he's the only one who's fiscally responsible." Even in the first season where characters hadn't been modified by audience feedback yet, he was the only one who actually knew how to navigate the bureaucracy.
