So after you jump through Youtube's hoops and they conclude by telling you to settle in the courts, the Japanese are left absolutely at the mercy of the IP holder unlike other regions.
Gunrun's clout is of course tied up in Twitch, which is what vshojo almost exlusively operates on, not Youtube.
And I swear you must unironically be one of the most prolific vshojo posters here just based on times mentioned. Cuz it certainly isn't vshojo watchers who keep bringing it up. What is the Virtual Asylum Skribbl-off, you ask? Well....

It's a small group of people playing Skribbl.io, with a custom TVA word list written up by your local neighborhood Helmet-kun.

What exactly is skribbl.io, you ask? Well, it's a drawing game. The best way to think of it is Pictionary, without a board or teams. One person chooses a prompt out of a small list, and draws it for everyone else to guess. If you guess the prompt correctly, you get points. If you guess the prompt before everyone else, you get more points. The artist also gets points when people guess their prompt correctly. Here is a better explanation of how it works. Not too difficult, really.


HOWEVER.


To sweeten the pot, the person with the most points at the end of the game will get an all-expenses paid title in our very own Virtual Asylum. Give yourself a shiny new title as the Asylum's coolest art-ist, or stick a giant sign saying RETARD on @MerelyTourist's back. If @The Proctor will allow your chosen title on the website, I'll pay for it.


After @The Proctor's recap stream ends on Monday (or 00:00 UTC/6 PM US Mountain Time, whichever is later), I'll post the invite link in this thread. First come first served: one room seats 20 people. Using Google won't be nearly as helpful when guessing, and may be more trouble than its worth depending on the prompt. There are also several prompts which could go either way, so the time spent searching may not benefit you. At the moment, this list has almost 6700 characters, 851 words, and around 500 individual prompts. Some of these prompts may change before we start, and I intend to keep adding to the list until then. I am open to suggestions for new prompts as well. Every entry should be formatted the same way (First letters capitalized, no punctuation when at all possible) but if you notice something that is fucked up, tell me now. If you get an unguessable entry during the game because I missed a hyphen while making the list, that's on you. When guessing, keep the capitalization thing in mind, every term will have it.

As fun as skribblio's "combination" game mode is (it takes two random prompts and you have to draw them together, making for hilarious combinations), we will be playing 90 second "hidden" mode. No letter hints will be added as time ticks down and there will be no indication of prompt length. Some prompts will be very difficult to guess with this format, that's intended. It's entirely possible to make a comeback from behind if the leader gets unlucky on a couple prompts, so keep playing for a comeback.

The person drawing will get 3 random prompts from the list, and gets to draw the prompt of their choice from among those 3 choices.

There will only be 2 rounds. A single round assumes every person draws, so a default 3 round game in a 20 person lobby would be way too long. 2 rounds is still going to be a long ass game, but it's much more feasible.

No game-ruining or stalling. This is meant as a fun diversion, not a space for you to draw unrelated fetish art of other people's oshis and force them to stare at it for 90 seconds. Same goes for AFK people who aren't drawing and forcing everyone to stare at a white screen for the full 90 seconds. Offenders will be kicked/banned.

I'm not as much of a prude as Proctor. If you need to show tits or a dick to convey your prompt more effectively or make a joke, feel free to do so, WITHIN REASON. There aren't many prompts in here that need anything NSFW to be drawn, and this was a purposeful decision. If you take an extra minute to make people watch you drawing loli porn for a prompt that says "Gura", that falls under fetish art and I will ban you.

At the moment, this list has almost 6700 characters, 851 words, and around 500 individual prompts. Some of these prompts may change before we start, and I intend to keep adding to the list until then. I am open to suggestions for new prompts as well. Every entry should be formatted the same way (First letters capitalized, no punctuation when at all possible) but if you notice something that is fucked up, tell me now. If you get an unguessable entry during the game because I missed a hyphen while making the list, that's on you. When guessing, keep the capitalization thing in mind, every term will have it.

As fun as skribblio's "combination" game mode is (it takes two random prompts and you have to draw them together, making for hilarious combinations), we will be playing 90 second "hidden" mode. No letter hints will be added as time ticks down and there will be no indication of prompt length. Some prompts will be very difficult to guess with this format, that's intended. It's entirely possible to make a comeback from behind if the leader gets unlucky on a couple prompts, so keep playing for a comeback.

The person drawing will get 3 random prompts from the list, and gets to draw the prompt of their choice from among those 3 choices.

There will only be 2 rounds. A single round assumes every person draws, so a default 3 round game in a 20 person lobby would be way too long. 2 rounds is still going to be a long ass game, but it's much more feasible.

No game-ruining or stalling. This is meant as a fun diversion, not a space for you to draw unrelated fetish art of other people's oshis and force them to stare at it for 90 seconds. Same goes for AFK people who aren't drawing and forcing everyone to stare at a white screen for the full 90 seconds. Offenders will be kicked/banned.

I'm not as much of a prude as Proctor. If you need to show tits or a dick to convey your prompt more effectively or make a joke, feel free to do so, WITHIN REASON. There aren't many prompts in here that need anything NSFW to be drawn, and this was a purposeful decision. If you take an extra minute to make people watch you drawing loli porn for a prompt that says "Gura", that falls under fetish art and I will ban you.

So after you jump through Youtube's hoops and they conclude by telling you to settle in the courts, the Japanese are left absolutely at the mercy of the IP holder unlike other regions.
Gunrun's clout is of course tied up in Twitch, which is what vshojo almost exlusively operates on, not Youtube.
