VTubers have access to dozens or hundreds of guys who probably have at least somewhat similar tastes and are willing to listen to the girl yap for hours, along with all the other sources of SOs like cons/friends/coworkers/etc. I'd almost expect more of them than average to be in some type of relationship assuming they count e-relationships/long distance relationships.

Some 3-view is going to figure out a regular is some finance type and actually land on her feet. Basically the opposite of what Mikeneko has done, lol. The girls will never actually go for the Whales, because throwing huge amounts of cash at them will kick off many "ick" factors in their hindbrain. But, if they're making enough money, they won't be able to think long enough into the future to land on their feet. Because the gig will only last for so long, unless you get really, really big.

Reality is that "Chat" is a walk of text and interactions like they're a cashier at the grocery store. No Vtuber that makes it any time will actually be able to get contacted that way. It's just not the way this all works. As a result, the collection of sad girls will, unfortunately, remain sad girls because they won't do what is necessary to get out of that situation.

I like to use the example of Morgan Webb from G4TV/Xplay. While having a lot of advantages in life (tall, good looking White Woman that's quite intelligent in the Tech Boom and in Media), she absolutely nailed the landing post-Media career. Mostly by marrying a company founder and now VC guy. House net worth in the 9 figures USD. Most of the chuubas we watch aren't going to stick the landings, which is sad on its own.

Wow, that turned out a lot more depressing than I meant it to be when I started writing it.

She's on the bottle again. Also, just weeks after complaining about faceposts being leaked from an alternate account, she decides to post her face on her vtuber-associated account.

Will she be mad about these pictures being archived once she's sobered up? Who knows.

We may want to keep active links to Alcoholics Anonymous chapters on the forum. It's been far too common to need to recommend.

I can feel this one will have a long and auspicious Lolcow death spiral until she becomes a total laughingstock (more than she already is).
She really needs to learn to disengage before her antics break containment and become an actual problem. She's at a party with her friends, it really shouldn't be that hard to put the phone down and just enjoy the moment for what it is.

Hexa's far from the only person guilty of this, and I don't say this to judge because I can earnestly see how the lines between Twitter socialisation and meaningful personal socialisation (online or offline) can blur for younger people who've had social media playing a major part of their life since they were literally children, but strangers on the internet don't need a running commentary of everything that happens in your life. It's okay for some moments to be fleeting, and it's good for your own mental wellbeing to excuse yourself from having an audience watching your every move sometimes by simply not sharing those moves where they can be seen.

Someone released a teaser for a Hololive analogy horror video a while ago...about Kiara. Want to make guesses on how many cliches will be in this one?

Oh I remember this guy, did plenty of these analog horror stuff back in the day, i believed to be back when the early days of HoloEN.

Didn't know he still making these stuff.

Most of chuubas discussed here often treat chuubing as a sidegig and opportunity to shoot the shit with the bros/girls. They either have a full time job, go to school/college or have a partner to support them. So really, i think once they are done chuubing, they will be alright.

Wouldn't that make vtubers into massive outliers compared to overall relationship stats for women between 18-30 in the first world? Is being a chuuba this much of a benefit to finding a partner as opposed to every other hobby/occupation?
She is exaggerating slightly; however, I think people are not putting things into perspective. There is a sizeable chunk of men that will fuck just about anything that moves. They don't care about income, mental health, or their weight so long as they put out on a semi-regular basis. It's hard for young men out there as the only way to get a decent relationship without too much risk is through their hobbies, as dating apps will make the average-looking man the free lunch machine unless they're a high eight and above. Also, women date more early on as once they start hitting 25+, a lot of the men in the same age bracket worth fucking and investing in are going to start chasing younger women as they advance up the employment ladder and start making comfortable wages. Given that a lot of vtubers are younger women, it makes sense they are more prevalent in the dating scene. Being a vtuber doesn't change this dynamic as it is inherent to society whether you like it or not; however, getting "caught" will permanently fucking destroy a vtuber's income, especially if they lean into GFE. All of us here know what happened to Shiina during the wantons incident and the hell she went through, but we are not the ones who have seen that and most rather not risk finding out. This phenomenon also happens to women as well, to a lesser extent, as demonstrated in this clip of Tenma being parasocial over Wendagoon getting married.

"I had a unicorn moment..."
"...for like two weeks."

Anyway, Enrico is generating so much HoloEN content that even the seasoned clipper community can barely keep up. Here is a HEAVILY abridged summary of the Mococo/Faunamart lottery lawsuit kerfuffle.

Commenters are calling this "Better Call Doll" because of Cecilia interposing herself into the confusion as a fast-talking lawyer.

I did not. Looked it up, and damn, some people are way too desperate for female attention. Shiina being in a relationship shouldn't have been that shocking to the guy to begin with tbh, of the vtubers i've seen, she's among the more well-composed ones, despite health issues.

That's more streams than I've expected. Fun weekend, or vods to watch

>be clipper
>nonstop stream-to-stream event for 3 days straight, likely going to be tons of clip worthy content
>there's only a 2 hour gap of time for EN content on Saturday because Shiina is doing a stream at fucking 5am PST

For the 2 views, sure, they might. But unless they vault high into CCV charts, they're going to get enough attention to fry their emotional responses without the massive nest egg to survive off because they're going to be far off into the Hag territory and wondering "where are the good men?!?!" like the rest of social media right now. I hope most of them stick the landing, but I wouldn't expect them to.

There's gonna be like 4 big hehe haha moments that everyone will clip and the rest won't be touched. I don't think that many clippers actually watch whole vods, even holo clippers seem to just clip whatever they tag them on their discords. I would also warn clippers to maybe avoid spamming the same clip, it may wake up the beast and some of you will eat shit in the process. It still boils my piss that people get shit on by youtube when there's like 5 different channels who shit out clips from the same tv show and they get to stay on :PomuAngry:

Unless they're Dizzy levels of delusional, they can get any loser with half a decent job to marry them and take care of them. As someone else pointed out dudes don't care what they bring to the table as long as they put out sometimes and in some cases not even that, just look at icuckz. They will get to live comfortably just by existing, they might not be happy about it but they won't be homeless :Vesper-UNHINGED:

I remember reading one vtuber saying around eighty percent of chuubas are in relationships. I don't know if that's true or not, but not mentioning your boyfriend on-stream makes sense when your career and income take a big hit if you do. A lot of people that are single don't want to hear about how great the relationship you're in is, even if they're not "unicorns".

I could believe a lot of chuubas are playing up how they can't get a date or aren't in the dating pool or whatever. Doesn't seem that inconceivable or impossible to me.
The analogy I see applying here is the number of VTubers who supposedly can't cook for shit. The truth is that probably many of them really play it up for the content and can at least make basic meals. But given general societal trends, a significant minority, maybe even a plurality, don't know how to cook, and all the VTubing money is going into UberEats/local equivalent. I've had to teach a few women in their 20s how to cook, and I'm not from the First World, or even a particularly good cook, so it's a global phenomenon.

In the same manner, probably a majority of VTubers do have a relationship of some kind. But given that there are a lot of chuubas who still live with their parents, young people generally having less opportunities to meet IRL partners outside of dating apps, and that VTubing in general attracts a lot of shut-ins/weirdos, I don't think anyone would dispute that there are a significant number of genuine femcels in this hobby. I suppose it also depends on what circle of VTubers you're around.

Either way, it's not really a huge deal to me unless the taken ones start leaning into GFE content, which I think is both unethical and reckless.

Ah, so you really are new to this. For the record, she has worked very hard to be where she is right now, and she's one of the few people who actually survived that kind of yab and ultimately ended up in a stronger position.

So many people coping. I can totally see most vtuber being in a relationship. I don't really care though.

Not a vtuber but there is a streamer called hafu who by her own quote "doesn't know how to boil water", she scored a boyfriend whom she married in 2021, her husband, a hearthstone streamer called Dog, doesn't know how to cook either. They survive off UberEats.
Riddle me this "how many male vtuber does it take to replace a light bulb" :anyannoyed:
The degeneration of skills goes both ways for the male populace too, basic plumbing, car fixing, woodworking, eletrical wiring, roof fixing, etc. things that husbands from the previous generation are expected to do, not many male from the fortnite/league of legends generation can. How many streamers do you think have ever held a screwdriver?

They are as much of a failure as the "girl failures" you guys are looking at, and thus standard for dating/marriage also degenerated.
If anything, age of bearing children goes up because more "failures" paired together and physically can't raise a child.

Sure male vtuber are an endangered species, but streaming and gaming as a whole is dominated by male, it aint hard to meet one if you e.g play the same game. With Valorant/Final Fantasy e-dating becoming the most popular platforms.

Pippa's stream earlier today has her remaking Monopoly to be about Phase Connect.

Pippa decides that four Phase Invaders means that they can fit the four railroad spaces. Instead of the train logo, Pippa decides on a logo for the Phase Invaders:
