I once thought that whoever the producer was for Starbox, pushing Masae to aim for a lower vocal register (which is why she took up smoking for a period of time) (This was from Mujin's video on them, which U-san left a comment of approval on) was what started this spiral, but never would I fathom that they had been subjected to such abuse at that age.........
