Not to defend Riku, but Japan has always had really low pay for their workers across the board, and it's one of the reasons they struggle to attract outside talent. If I remember correctly, Japan is one of the lowest in the developed world in terms of wages. Given the nation's economic problems, I can sympathize with why it's like this, with real wages being down for almost two years. However, asking minimum wage for this if fucking unbelievable given the work hours and knowledge required.
