I know where you're coming from, I get it. However, I feel like I need to remind people that Shondo isn't some 2view nobody. She regularly gets 1-2k live viewers and tens of thousands of views in subsequent formats from archives and clippings. For what you've posted here, you are using both /vt/ and a secret twitter as the bar to prove a point. Yeah there are plenty of schizos and Shondo is not only one of them but also their queen lol, but most viewers are obviously just normal people engaging with the entertainment in front of them. All of this is backroom garbage that most people who watch her never see nor engage with.

Same reason why people watch Fuwamoco: kayfabe. I get filtered by all 3 voices, but it is known that "acting" in vtubing became so scarce people actively seek it, the GFE is just a cherry on top.

Don't forget Idol's major scandal involving talents invoking/baiting drug use, fucking their managers, and potentially prostituting themselves to fans. So they will actually start fucking with websites & businesses that get known for primarily dealing with it - it's why the likes of Tumblr, Patreon, and even Onlyfans have either banned or tried to ban porn, because the costs began cutting in to their own money. And with Idol's issues I described above I wouldn't be surprised if Yuko's changed priorities were mandated by either Idol or Brave who don't want to deal with that. The same potentially goes for Shiina promising porn with Phase shutting it down to a lesser extent.

To give some context of this, the whole thing is essentially an ID weebs-focused Instagram page (from what I can find) deciding to do a parody of the country's presidential elections, with around 24 waifu candidates of choices to pick.

Presenting sexually explicit content as ASMR so it flies under the radar has always felt like a loophole rather than an earnest business strategy since it's on a typically safe-for-work platform and one could argue it's artistic rather than pornographic (yeah, I know, but that tiny little bit of plausible deniability can do some heavy lifting) - but as vtubing and ASMR communities continue to grow, the chances of sponsors, payment processers, and other potential business partners catching on increases.
