Yeah, I don't really get the current black pilling about Phase changing. This discussion gets brought up from time to time and not much changes. Sure, the company is trying to dial back on some topics, and some of the talents are toning themselves down a bit because the more popular they get, the more likely they'll get bonked for YT or something for screaming about shooting up a Walmart or something. But I haven't seen enough change in any of them to be concerned about things. Lumi is still out there calling her chat slurs and telling them to kill themselves, Tenma still has her explosive outbursts and shit talking, Rie and Lia are still unhinged as hell (though, Lia does delete a lot of vods because of possible yabs she gets worried about), Dizzy is still out there making edgier jokes than even Pippa at times, etc.

Gen 3 is still new, and as a new employee, most people try to be on their best behavior. Give it some time, and we'll probably see them becoming more relaxed and comfortable, especially when they start being able to collab with the other Phase girls.

I feel like bigger problem with vshoujo is Mika being from Indonesia. She can't exactly go full coomer mode, Hololive was basically always fine collabing with her, and she was out the door for about a year at this point. She has no kind of controversy or scandal surrounding her, is more than capable of keeping her mouth shut around certain topics, she will still be able to collab with all of her old ID crew. Why join the company where the only explicit advantage is being a coomer with no presence in your local area, if it's likely you can join a much bigger company who has operation in ID. Unless she tried auditioning and got rejected, then it's understandable

1. There is a huge divide in fandom, twitch viewers doesn't watch youtube vtuber and youtube vtuber fan doesn't watch twitch vtuber.
2. The divide also shows in the vtubers themselves, while most youtube vtuber tries to be as close to being a hololive/nijisanji member/be an idol. Twitch vtubers usually doesn't and some of them aren't afraid to stream with their real faces/real body randomly, engage in horny shit and some of them literally do porn work (Projekt Melody/CottontailVA)
3. There are more varieties in twitch and they are not strictly live2D models, some example Zentreya (dont know what she uses, uses a voice changer), CodeMiko (Unreal engine), Filian (who uses VRchat only and really good at it) and the rising star of this year is Neuro-sama (an actual AI programmed by a guy - the turtle on her head),
4. There are alot more independents on twitch than youtube.

5. Vshojo is the 3rd biggest corpos in the west, farming twitch watchers (only behind HoloEN and NijiEN). Their current biggest Twitch chuuba is Ironmouse streams alot, literally disabled and is a really good singer. Henya is just straight up a reincarnated youtube vtuber
6. Unlike hololive walled garden aproach, twitch tubers collab with each other alot, corpo or noncorpo
7. Wont name any small ones (more like i dont watch any and you asked for representatives). There are also alot of normal streamers who get live2d models just for the sake of it. Won't name anyone because fuck them.
8. I used random chinese subbed clips on youtube, but you probs can find better clips on bilibili. My personal ranking goes Chibi >= Henya dont care about the rest.

From this point of view, I think the environment of bilibili VTB is somewhat similar to twitch, and there is also a large number of independents in bilibili.
bilibili VTB won't Use projects like Hololive for reference mainly because they can't use youtube.
nijisanji's loose structure prevents them from becoming a market-dominating group because the fan base is too fragmented
And because there are no mature industry norms, they can experiment with various types of content. They are also not afraid to stream with their real body/face, and even thought it more pleasing to the audience。
This also leads to a problem, that is, there are too many independent people, and the problem of repetitive content is very serious.
In addition, since bilibili video revenue is extremely low, they almost only make money through live streaming. Making them less creative
More people who know nothing about VTB, come to bilibili to live just to make money, but can't do anything.
