Hands down Vesper's cover of Shinigami is my most-played cover song in 2023. He is not a singer and doesn't have a voice but you can tell he really tried his best and the song really fits his lower range. Also, he didn't pic an easy song. The song has very weird timing on the bridge before each chorus and it's not an easy song especially if you don't know Japanese which he doesn't.

I really enjoyed this as well. I wonder if it would be a song which is actually easier to learn phonetically knowing no Japanese than to learn "normally" if you know a bit of it, since it's half informal forms, and there's that big phrase of nonsense in the verses. I've become a fan of the original song as well after seeing Vesper's cover.

As I mentioned. when it comes to free press this was a huge move from Marina. They will get a ton of pushback from normies and artists though as it has left the Vtuber niche and hit a mainstream audience. Marina will get a ton of hate and I wonder if they can handle that shit. As I also said I feel like a ton of the people Marina has fucked over wont like this and they might fight back with one of those cancel tweetlongers.

And it seems so short-term too. I'd rather have a minimum CCV of 500 for the rest of my career than an average CCV of 5,000 for a single day.

She called out her old company's management, creating a division among its fans and when it died some of them blamed her. As Sio, a data breach in japan caused her IP to get leaked, which was believed to be same IP of a 5ch shitposter. Allegedly, she shitposted behind her collab partners back and even gave doxxing info away. There's also cheating at mahjong thing but i don't know much about that. All of this garnered a big anti mob who constantly targeted her, and it might have lead up to a point where she's either doxxed or got very close to it. I've heard she tried to come back but dont remember much about it.

I dont care wheither any of the whores that got banned were breaking ToS or not. The fact they all jumped so fast on the train showing to the world how much little respect they have for themselves is enough for me to think they all should get banned permanently from twitch. 1. A day's ban for absolutely massive visibility is an insane trade. They'll not keep most of it, but it was still entirely worth and I hate it.
