I haven't watched anything from Kiara for something like 8+ months. Is this her normal voice now? It's actually tolerable.
Or Matara its just Lying to make Vshojo look good and make Niji even worse (thanks to the hate wave of current year)

Also Dizzy is on and even though its South Park so far its been more of a continuation of last nights complaining
She went back to her PL and hasn't really shown signs of going back to streaming anytime soon.
She is however part of this PH VTuber group
And more recently, made emotes for some of Astraline's talents
Back in 2021 it was already a shock to hear debut voice/mic Kiara.
I caught a clip of mid-2021 the other day and was shocked at how pitchy it was compared to 2022 and 2023.
Anyway yes, slow evolution of the voice she uses and her equipment has led to this voice since about the end of 2022. Lately the death of her GoXLR also meant she finally found the source of the ringing noises her setup had early this year (if your headphones/ears were sensitive enough to hear them anyway).
He's been on his Japanese adventure.
It basically depends on schedules. I did go back and listen (~15:34 if my time stamp doesn’t work), and she said saying that it’s an EN girl gives it away. So it shouldn’t be a surprise, but someone who we know will be in Japan at the same time. I don’t know if anyone else is planning to be there at the same time, but if someone could show Bae mentioning that she’d be in Japan at the same time I’d be more willing to consider it. Besides, it’s not like Bae and Kiara are particularly close either, the main link between any of them would be Calli.
Most of chat was guessing IRyS, and she giggled. Bae guesses were a distant second, however there were some other very likely and compelling guesses like Ame, or AZKi.
(Inb4 Kiara and nerissa are going to Japan together and I barf.)

Her voice went down gradually for the past 6 months or so
There wasn't like some kind of period of sickness or so that forced her voice to be lower, it just kinda happened
Even just a year ago, she said that she didn't want to change her voice. I am not even sure if she herself knows how much it changed.
I expect it to go deeper still, gradually, but not by much.
Other Kiara news:
Ame approached her about doing another VR Dance lesson stream
They might set up a Christmas version of it
For reference:
Kiara talked about how Ame is always the one who organises the big VR collabs and all and she wants to get better at VR herself so that she can help Ame and others out and take some of the workload from Ame.
In a similar Vein, Ame wanted to organise a big EN Among Us collab, but it fell through.
Kiara is picking the idea up, and since she is the Tardwranger supreme for HoloEN at this point, I do trust her that it will happen. It's just not a priority currently and might have to wait quite a bit. But the idea is not forgotten!
Its tricky and unfortunate timing at the moment, Kiaras schedule looks busy for the next few months:
- November: Flying to Japan to Record BD 3D Live + New Year's Concert
- December: Various Event Streams for Christmas and NYE + Vacation and visit from HoloID's Reine
- January: Visit from Nerissa and Vacation on the Maldives with her
- February + March: HoloFes recording crunch, probably lots of travelling to Japan again
Btw Christmas Events: Maybe some people remember, last year Kiara (and KFP) organised an Advents calendar that would contain small little recordings from each member to unlock on each day leading up to Christmas. This is happening again, but this time financed and organised by Cover and not KFP.
Mumei wants to set up another Girls Talk collab with Kiara, featuring Nerissa, minus Fauna.
(That's just Birb talk at that point)

What I want to point out is the funny little coincidence that all 3 EN birds are the closest with each other from outside their own gen.
As in Mumei is the Promise girl Kiara is the closest to, and vice versa, Kiara is the Myth girl Mumei is the closest to. And Nerissa is the Advent girl both Mumei and Kiara are the closest with.
It's a silly little coincidence, it could have been anyone else, but it just so happens that they are all birds as well.
Holotori bonds strengthen and reinforce each other, and I love to see it.
