Yeah you're about 20 pages late, i made that same argument before and, ultimately, agreed with @Hff201's counter-argument that notable RM antics tend to bleed into regular audience territory, see: imbeciles who spammed related messages in the recent Pippa stream. Do i think it's a good thing that they're bringing RM stuff over to corpo accounts? No, i think it's extremely stupid. Am i surprised that they're doing it? Sadly, not really.

This thread was supposed to be about making fun of vtubers seething about Trump on their main, but it's now just people seething for Clara seething over Trump in private.

You can pretty much guarantee that there's at least a few other vtubers people here watch that have the same sort of opinion that Clara does, but you just don't know. And it could be anyone, even the "based" ones like Pippa and Kirsche. Kirsche bought weed recently, so clearly she can't be  that based. What else is she "lying" about? What if her content is purely for the money and her actual stance is the complete opposite? Can you ever really know? If things like this truly bother you, how can you watch any content creator that you don't personally know in real life?

I can see that, but unless mods are cleaning it very fast(or i simply missed them) it happened to pippa more than her chat or kaching as far as I see. Is it really bleeding into regular audience territory if that's the case?

She never directly catered to their(as in vt or pcg) opinions or her channel never felt like a place to have discussions about contemporary issues, so the density of people that acts like that should be low. If anyone tries to stir shit you can just ban them from chat, since if they dislike her because of this they most likely won't ever change their mind, if they'll even watch her again.

Several people in this thread have announced that they'll no longer support Clara financially, shouldn't be too hard to see if that sentiment is widespread(i don't think it will be tbh. I veehemently disagree with this paragraph here. "Ideological consistency" can mean many things, those being subjective to the individual and their peers, and that's a bullshit argument. People should be allowed to change, even if you don't agree with it, being "consistent" is what stop critical thinking and transform people into baboons that can't adapt. We can only wish people change for the better, for a more tolerant and wise society where no one is left behind. If you're enforcing people to die on the hill of their worldview, what is the point of discussing all this stuff anyway?
I don't know if it's common here but I grew up in an racist household with drug addicts and now I'm one of the few that can speak other languages and tinker with complex machines. If I had "ideological consistency" I would carry retarded cultural values forward and curse the next generation with it as well, be it spending a factory worker's hard earned cash in alcohol for "socializing" or shortening my social horizon and enjoyment of the arts because of skin color.
