I even said in my post that i loved the anime. I haven't read a manga in years so i dont know if the manga is that different, but i just think they did kind of a lazy job with her. I only learned about Noct's existence yesterday, I could be missing critical information, but I read through the thread and watched the Kuri Rinji stream about him yesterday and even after listening to 4 hours of it and finding the individual hilarious, I can't help but pity him. He isn't just a degenerate autistic freak like Nolan (Okay he is), as far as I am aware all his threats are just deranged ramblings and he hasn't physically abused people in his life, but he seems to have an unchecked severe mental illness and I wonder if his Froot scizophrenia is some sort of sunk cost fallacy, like his life was so shit that when he discovered vtubers and Froot he refused to let go and can only double down because everything else in his life is such a trainwreck. I think he legitimately needs serious mental help.

If this isn't a Kaufman-esque skit that has been going on for 2 years, that is. There is so much effort put into his admiration for Froot it either has to be a bit or genuine mental issues.

Proctor confirmed he's in community college. Not to knock community college as it can be a useful way to get your undergrad prereqs for cheaper before moving onto an actual program at uni, but a lot of community college students that aren't middle aged vets trying to get back into school/the aforementioned kids jewing the system so they don't have to pay more to take Calc I and II are very immature. Even more so than freshmen straight out of HS in decent unis.
