The smugness, along with complaining about someone being "toxic", is the kind of shit I'd read from an SJW after someone posted a YWNBAW meme. It makes you look like a literal stereotype of the Discord mods who get mocked relentlessly here and on the Kiwi Farms, and a quick skim of the forum would make it immediately apparent that people here are not going to like it.

If you asked me this earlier in 2024 or late 2023 I would've said the former would likely happen from Proctor. After this year of increasingly gay Proctor Hexa moments? The latter is more unfortunately likely.

I feel like the TVA Discord needs to divorce itself entirely from the TVA forum, because these two cultures are so incompatible with each other that trying to avoid these episodes is like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. The forum's culture is basically the Kiwi Farms without the anime seething, while the Discord's looking like a better candidate for a Community Watch thread by the day.

To demonstrate what I mean: @Alexander, I don't know you, and I can't speak for your character in real life. But seeing shit like this is the worst first impression anyone could possibly give.

If I'm being honest I don't even have a problem with the Discord existing in itself; I don't care much for Discord communities so I just personally chose not to join. That should be all there is to it and I'm content to just live and let live, except for some reason it keeps breaking containment and this unfiltered autism shits up the otherwise reasonably-civil forum every few weeks or so. I think the forum in its current state is mostly a good thing, it's strikes a healthy balance between being a place for meaningful discussion while still allowing people to have a sense of humour about both the more absurd parts of the vtuber industry, and the unique quirks of individual users here. I post here every day for a reason. But I can see a snowball starting to roll, and I don't like it.

This isn't an isolated incident. I've been here for half a year and even i already saw like three "discord drama getting brought over to the forum" events. And it's gay and retarded every fucking time.

The discord has been a blight for the overwhelming majority of its existence. It shouldn't have been used at all aside from stream voice calls like in the beginning.

If I were you, I'd stick to topics of discussion that I personally do not care about. If he'd stuck to his Discord gayops and his favorite Vtuber Idols and whatnot, he'd still be in the Discord because I wouldn't have spared it a second glance. Instead he got into an unwinnable argument, dismissed me with a video link, and then ignored two ultimatums telling him to stop posting. I wanted to ban him, of course, which is why I gave an ultimatum I knew he was hardwired to ignore.

I have suggested this like 50 times since about the time it stopped being just a place to call in to proc's streams.

It creates needless arguments that end up only making Proctor look worse once they get brought up over here.
It fosters a different culture and community which radically clashes with our own.
It has created an entire faction of users who hate Proctor and only seek to bitch and complain.
It brings in freaks and normies which end up being nuisances 90% of the time.
It largely includes shit like politics and other circular debate topics instead of vtubers which causes people to needlessly argue (like what got soykek banned)

That only happens because there's a lack of moderation when we need it (Ursulus politisperg, Tourist saying anything) and this shit reocurring everytime someone hurts his feelings. It is great when it's just Cubano and a handful of people that are interested in the subjects of the gossip, most of the yellows/oranges, including Moth, believe it or not.
