Idk, man, it seems like KF is grasping at straws when it comes to finding big-name lolcow vtubers lol. When was the last time Nyanners was even relevant? Early 2023 when she quit VS? Before then, the Nux drama? She just seems boring to me.

No doubt there's a contingent of users on the Farms (usually newer ones at that) who have an axe to grind against the vtuber thread. Not that there isn't plenty of juicy drama in the vtuber world (there absolutely is), a lot of these threads lack the whimsical "laugh at this goofus" feeling that the better lolcows like Patrick Tomlinson have, and have more of the mean-spirited "every little thing this person does is an affront to humanity and here's why everyone associated with them needs to be glassed from orbit" plague of A-logs that DSP's subforum has.

I wouldn't be particularly averse to a proper thread on the farms tracking vtuber drama and the countless creeps in the industry, even for Pippa because she's been involved in and stumbled into all sorts of weird shit, but like you said it's infested by uninformed goobers, retards, and alogs who can't even pretend to give an objective take on events. Some mods like Useful Mistake have tried to inject some sanity into the hysteria and blogposting but it's just caught them shit for their efforts.
Farms threads have been tanked for not even half the nonsense that's happened in the sektur/vtuber and Pippa threads recently, I assume the only reason it's still up is because Josh is personally invested since he was legit traumatised by anime posters during his own time as a mod.

No shade to the homeland thread or anything (RESPECT YOUR ELDERS!) but damn... I went there earlier to see the Nyaru schizodox and jeeze has it become kinda depressing. It's like a vanilla version of the general thread here, which does make me kinda sad since I can remember the months of checking in on it and slowly becoming ingrained into the discourse, it has gotten a bit better since the farms stopped going down though, not as much raw cynicism as a few months ago.

Her catgirl vtuber model isn't as blatantly loli as it could be, but last time I saw her she was still putting on the same little girl voice as she was back when she was playing pickme for edgelords and paedophiles on /a/ back in the day, so I can understand why people still find how she conducts herself distasteful. Her lolicon disavowal feels incredibly fair-weather since she's still operating in an adjacent space to one she was supposedly repulsed by, and while most people just lay out her contradictory behaviours back-to-back and call her a hypocrite, I think the big picture issue is that she's just fake and panders to whoever will give her attention at any given moment.

She doesn't believe in or stand by anything, she just jumps from community to community and recites their talking points for approval - and if that means she looks like a hypocrite because the things she said to appease the tumblr feminists contradict the things she's said in her vocaroos in the past or on her vtuber streams in the present, so be it, because she doesn't think that far ahead.

I don't think the model's blatantly loli like I said, but I also feel someone who disavowed their old loli content because they genuinely felt uncomfortable with it wouldn't then go on to work in a space as lolicon-adjacent as vtubing. It still feels close enough to her old act that it doesn't feel like she's actually moved away from anything.

The voice does sound deeper than the last time I heard her, to be fair. It sounds less like a little girl voice, and more like a little girl who smokes voice.
