the "what if" since she was out of commission for a while really gets some people, especially since her first and last interactions were pretty pleasant overall, Sanalites have a better reason to miss her than Aloe fags, and you still see people including Aloe in the roster of people who were beloved but let go

I have said many times that people start caring about Holos more when they are gone than when they were still around, loads of the recent graduates get talked about more in relation to who they were in Holo rather than any merits of their new persona. Must be pretty depressing to be eternally doomed to being only brought up because you were in a place your purposefully left, like your only worth is to be tied to "your better years", kinda insulting tbh.
Atleast Deltaluya bounced back eventually, almost literally, and Namie had her actual job to go back on while still being well liked whenever she rarely streams
Kson got into how many Yakuza games now?
The only one that really seems to suffer is Mikeneko. I have no idea how Rica/Mel is doing. Aqua has been doing well too, hasnt she?

Rica is fine, she was never super popular in Holo either so just kinda grinding as an indie. Not-Aqua went on some hiatus or smth last time I heard about her, she was really popular in Holo and is still really popular out of it.
The part that I find most offensive is that she's alive and around, yet "fans" don't care, they care about the brand. Holofags of this kind is the same as Nijisisters, but at least Nijisisters only defend talents who are alive, as they already turned on Doki and Mint.
I wonder if we can name vtuber corpos as cults, this is some Apple drone behavior.
I feel like Nimi has largely avoided this - she clearly spent a bunch of time, effort and $$ to have an exit plan fully in place before leaving though, which probably helped a lot.

Sakuna is finally bouncing back after Mikecat put a curse on her or something.

To be fair she didnt come back as a vtuber or Streamer so the only way "fans" had to interact with her was to play the chink gacha game "Arknights" before her current spree of streams
The issue with Sana is like a professional athlete getting a career-ending injury in their rookie year. So the potential was there and she was just starting to pick up, then graduation hit. Also, Astrogirl is still a banger.
