the "what if" since she was out of commission for a while really gets some people, especially since her first and last interactions were pretty pleasant overall, Sanalites have a better reason to miss her than Aloe fags, and you still see people including Aloe in the roster of people who were beloved but let go

I have said many times that people start caring about Holos more when they are gone than when they were still around, loads of the recent graduates get talked about more in relation to who they were in Holo rather than any merits of their new persona. Must be pretty depressing to be eternally doomed to being only brought up because you were in a place your purposefully left, like your only worth is to be tied to "your better years", kinda insulting tbh.

Rica is fine, she was never super popular in Holo either so just kinda grinding as an indie. Not-Aqua went on some hiatus or smth last time I heard about her, she was really popular in Holo and is still really popular out of it.

I feel like Nimi has largely avoided this - she clearly spent a bunch of time, effort and $$ to have an exit plan fully in place before leaving though, which probably helped a lot.
