I'll give PixelLink a bit more credit in I figured them shouting out the PLs upon graduation was going to be it, I didn't expect to see their official account also advertising the debuts of Lazuli and Rebbie. Also I've heard many of the girls say their old managers are still helping them and they're working on hiring them on to manage them as indies.

I'm suspicious because the speech pattern is way to close to that of a boy. While there are some women out their with lower pitched voices and the occasional man with unusually high pitch there is still a distinctive difference in the ways that men and women structure their speech. I'll admit maybe it is a she that is very autistic and has a brain wired more like a man (it's been seen in the past when doing MRIs of straight and gay people that the brain patterns light up differently with gay men thinking more like women and vice-versa, it's another fact that the tranny agenda tries to bury.)

It's been a pet peeve of mine with the people who claim that "all vtubers are really just men with voice changers" that changing pitch does not also making you start structuring your speech like a woman as well. I figure some just talk to IRL women so infrequently that they don't pick up on the nuances. Then again maybe it's just my own personal 'tism that I detect this stuff and normies can't identify voices easily like how my wife somehow did not realize at first that Dooby is Amelia.

There's a combination of psychology and timing at work to get spotted out in chat, there's no all inclusive pattern that works but Shiina's onto it when saying that timing is against you sometimes. When you watch someone long enough to learn their mannerisms in how/when they're looking at chat you can learn when they'll be able to see your input.

I've been read multiple times by the various chuuba I watch once I learn how to tell they're going to be looking at chat if they're a big audience CCV regular. I don't consider it the same if they're a 2view with 10 regular chatters in stream and the yapbox is a crawl.

Yeah they were usually short easy to read comments at times when chat had slowed down, not like I was getting picked out of the crowd when it's going a mile-a-minute. It just happening multiple times over a few streams made it feel like a heck of a coincidence.

I automatically and completely distrust any vtuber who is openly advertising an affiliation or overt interest in imageboard culture. I don't mean 'old 4chan' vtubers like Marimari_en who are content to hint and nudge but not overtly flirt with the boards, but the kind of vtuber who purposefully tailors their image to appeal to that audience and encourages them to be parasocial towards her. It's all an act; they're not real 'girlfailures', they're not really interested in the boards, they don't want you to help them get worse. They're the 2020's equivalent to fake gamer girls. Don't give them any attention or try to help them. At best, just watch and laugh when they get exposed like Gumpai did.

I think it's mostly parasocialism, but interaction is part of the appeal of a stream. It validates that it's happening live and makes chat feel involved - people prefer live streams over prerecords for a reason.
I do think a lot of the time a streamer sets up something that makes sense for the audience size they have and then doesn't scale it back properly as they grow. A stand up comic can't have the same interactions with their audience and hecklers in a stadium gig as they did in a pub open mic night, but when it's just text on a screen the difference is a bit less obvious to the performer.

The difference between Pippa and the fake girlfailures is that Pippa doesn't revel or exploit her girlfailure status. She is what she is because of life circumstances and a total lack of better options or guidance. To her, what she does is normal. She gets defensive about it, she downplays it, and what's important is that she changes if exposed to a superior way for long enough. She is, by whatever relative margin you wish to use, better off, healthier, more stable and functional than she was 3-4 years ago. Meanwhile the fake girlfailures revel in what they claim to be. They aren't disgusted by themselves and don't have elaborate justifications for why they are the way they are. They're just 'uwu sweaty gooner eyebag girl uwu irl watamote gf' with all the depth of a puddle.
