The only other time I've seen YouTube actively refund already-accrued donations rather than just disabling new ones was following the Killstream's fundraiser stream for the St. Jude's children's hospital through the built-in YouTube Giving tool, where the hospital were pressured into declining the money and presumably asked for it to be refunded themselves. This really does feel like there's been some kind of manual intervention.Youtube may apparently be refunding all superchats given to Idol members going back to at least November.
