Nah, it was more like watching a gambler try to convince themselves "I'm totally not addicted".And you believed her?! Never trust Doki when it comes to Marvel Rivals.
I think it's unlikely to be botting.I've seen a few things from funnygamedev before in various places on the internet, and my impression of the guy is a know-nothing twitter politicker with a stick up his ass. When your biggest claim to fame as a "developer" is your twitter activity, you're tossing a lot of rocks from a glass house.
Yeah I think this just straight up kills Idol, at least on Youtube. Google has exactly zero reasons to ever walk back a human judgement call on a decision like this, all of the twitter rage over bans and such has always been to get a human to review automated decisions. Brave has nothing to pressure YT with, either; bigger companies have tried and failed in the past.
The thing is, I think they did try. A couple accounts got monetization back, IIRC: whatever triggered Youtube's ire may have been limited to Idol at first?
Let's say Youtube noticed something and initially struck accounts related to Brave's entire EN structure because they weren't aware of the delineation between Brave's various properties.
After Brave got in touch with YT and they learned about the buyout, the non-offending accounts were remonetized but YT isn't budging on the accounts that actually pissed them off.
It's abut it makes a lot of sense to me. Aviel scamming one of the biggest v-tubing companies out of their investment money is way too on-brand.
EDIT: nvm @Kanna's Glowiest Assistant has actually done the legwork and already proved this rrat wrong. If it is Brave related it has to be botting, not donothon related, so there's that
Gotta be the donothons then.I think it's unlikely to be botting.
According to YouTube, scams and botting are two different rules with their own ways of being handled.

Youtube doesn't demonetize for botting, they only remove the content that faked numbers. They never mention monetization at all as a punishment for it, it just goes straight to nuking the channels if its repeat offenses.
But they do say removing monetization can happen for scamming. Whatever happened to them, it has to do with scams in some way.
Based Pochi's revengeance from behind the graveI think it's unlikely to be botting.

Depressed Nousagi is totally leaving for a long time, again. At least he didn't make a video where he's crying like a little bitch this time.

[ ANNOUNCEMENT ]
Hi everyone.
I made a little announcement a couple days ago on my Discord and even made vague implications of this since last year, BUT I am going to go away for quite sometime. IRL responsibilities, burnout, and some newfound passions made it difficult for me to continue being a YouTuber, so much so that I have to take some time off to go on an indefinite hiatus and think about where and how I want my life to be.
I'll be holding a week-full of streams next week and upload one more video after my last stream so we can have some time to do stuff. After that, I will pause all memberships and be inactive.
Many of my viewers might have actually expected this (they're smart creatures who figured it out since last year lmao). Whether that be through the slowdown of video uploads, not being caught up to industry happenings, inability to stick to schedules, etc.
Fret not, this is just a hiatus for a reason. I don't know when I'm going to come back but do expect some very big changes when I do.
Donothon rewards are still incoming as well.
More details on my next stream!
The fact of them rasing fuss on twitter using corporate accounts shows that Brave is: 1) literal who small fry not worth parlaying with; 2) provably fucked around, thus have no legal standing. This monetizing viewbotting situation going on at Idol is a complete trashfire and it seems for all their money, Brave isn't keen on making amends or at least help with restoring those accounts.
Nah, this is all Brave's doing. It's V4Mirai's suspicious sub counts that first caught our attention after all, Idol are just collateral.Aviel knew what was going to happend and sold Idol before jumping ship

There's a difference: Jews are smart enough to get away with it. Brave are malfunctioning Chinese bootleg Jews.Everything about Idol is spiritually Jewish even when Aviel left
I'm too tired to write the rest of this shitpost but something about WOTC and then Cover happened in 202X.
Title: "Card Wars: Hololive vs. Wizards of the Coast"
When Hololive, the virtual idol sensation, unleashes Hololive TCG, the world of trading cards is thrown into pure chaos. With cards that summon giant rubber chickens, shark tornadoes, and time-traveling potatoes, Wizards of the Coast, creators of the revered Magic: The Gathering, declare war—horrified that their perfect, rule-abiding game is now at risk of being overshadowed by Haachama’s Snack Party and Gura’s Underwater Rampage.
As Hololive’s chaotic idols unleash their most absurd combos, Wizards' top players, armed with rare cards and rigid strategies, find themselves completely outclassed. In this battle of wit, madness, and meme-worthy cards, only one side can reign supreme in the world of trading card games.
Prepare for shenanigans, absurdity, and an all-out brawl that’s anything but by the book.
