Huh, I could have sworn Ekko had her DMs closed... I'll have to check again cause that doesn't seem like a question one of her mutuals would be asking. Interesting if she actually admitted to wrongdoing, but I notice whoever took the screenshot seems to have intentionally left the question out so it could just be a misleading crop. As for harassment I personally wouldn't consider posting here harassing Blaise - and while I can't speak for anyone else, I'm not in her chat or comments or DMing her. I'm sure there are schizos out there legit harassing her but I think most people /here/ mostly just ignore her 90% of the time.

Edit: Ekko now has DMs on Twitter open apparently, very interesting. Her Discord still says DMing her without permission will result in a ban from all streaming platforms, but maybe that's just for Discord only since having DMs open on Twitter kind of implies permission...

I have to fundamentally disagree here. Blaise is an adult woman and, as a VTuber, a public figure (albeit a small one). Therefore posts she makes in a public space should be fair game for comments regardless of if they're positive or negative. If talking about posts she puts out there of her own volition is harassment then virtually anything could be considered harassment. I suppose she might have that exact perspective though considering she literally told people to email her if you want to talk to her and that she would "...give everyone the time of day if they are respectful, even if they disagree..." but was going off about how she blocked the "freak" Proctor - whose message was respectful if a bit... well... shall we say verbose. Ekko has clearly forgiven any issue she had with Blaise and moved on so it'd be silly for me to continue hating on her account (and if you read through this thread you'll notice for the most part I have stopped posting about Blaise), but Blaise's complaints about TVA users just come across as being in made in bad faith in my opinion.

He white-knighted the VRev Gen 2 girls so hard last year Furi actually told him to cut it out and that he was being creepy and intrusive after a Twitter post that has long been deleted
Oh I do believe you, I seen him spamming the feedback tab on both Gen 1 and 2's discord harping the same old thing. He wasn't just balls deep with Gen 2 talents, but in fact all of the talents of VRev. I have not once seen him active in any of the talent's chat or discord prior to the eventual implosion. Mofo, acting like he ride or die with the talents since day 1 lol. He just chasing drama and white knighting any Vtubers that have been wronged by their corpo overlords.

i hope the trend of corpos selling talents their IPs when they close down dies off here.
i would’ve thought seeing the negative reaction towards EIEN making that same decision would have made it impossible to happen again :/
it just feels bad for both talent & fans to see only people who can afford their IP be able to remain with their model and channel they’ve grown so attached to.
in EIENs case, the prices were intentionally made higher for me and another person, really hope that wasn’t the case here.
So seems like whatever happened with pixel is completely different than my experience in my ex-corpo.
My previous corpo had no creditors, and had no one to pay back. My previous corpo charged the 2 people who struggled with money every month over $10k a piece for our IPs and gave everyone else theirs for less than $20.
If everyone had been asked for a low price or a high price, it would’ve been different, but in my case, it was just simply spiting me and another person.
THAT is the kind of thing I think should not be repeated again.
But I also think asking for so much from every talent knowing that many can’t afford it or aren’t going to be willing to spend that much is going to make it even more difficult to recuperate your losses, no? Idk!!!

She's had her takes I've disagreed with for sure, but I can't fault her for being upset about being asked for $15k for her IP while some others were essentially free. I think her take here is reasonable, sucks to see IP people have grown attached to permanently thrown in the dumpster, but as long as everyone is asked for the same amount it's at least fair to sell it.
