It's very "by the numbers" if you will, doesn't do anything particularly out there. While VshojoeBoy over here is trying to defend his personal slight against the Wardoggo, I just gonna talk about something else entirely.

If you all cared enough to remember about our retarded Informative vtuber-person Depressed Nousagi, then you lot probably remember the female "human puppet" vtuber design that was showcased a couple of weeks ago during one of his milestone (I forgot which). It was something along the line of a design that was, for lack of better word, "something that he can goon on", with me remembering the introduction as him saying that "she has no right, you can do anything to her, whatever"

Well, a week ago that avatar ended up doing a debut marathon that lasted for like, 6 days or so.

I don't really like to summarize an entire debut marathon other than she's having some nice voice for a woman willing to fulfill a flipperino male fantasy, but the gist of it is that now that the debut marathon's over then Nousagi saw it fit to go and post the puppet's social media accounts.

Now named "Tsugikata Nous", the puppet now has her:

Vshojo's collab stamp thing is just kind of wierdly flat?
I dont think its a bad idea on paper, but something ive noticed ever since the froot thing is that some cross corpo events of theirs often have little to no buzz or promotion even among their fanbase.
Theres a loud minority that yas queens everything vshojo does but in practice its a company that has more individual cliques or collabs that doesnt always seemingly have the best synergy with each other

I suppose its their nature as an unorthodox "corpo" with no structure or internal buddy systems like Generations

I pretty much don't watch vshojo at all, so i'll easily admit my ignorance, but from stuff like recommended yt clips/twitch streams, seemed to me like they largely collab in small groups that barely intersect with each other, and therefore this event might be an effort to create connections between otherwise-distant parts of the company.

I never know if I'm posting something worth posting... I think giving up on posting about what you like is the worst option, though. I wonder if I can or should say that though since it's coming from a person who enjoys the "forum approved" vtubers quite a lot but even I have gotten a couple people to talk a bit with me about Kuroa chan a few times. Does she count as forum approved? I doubt it since she's a two view streams when no one is awake and speaks JP but I don't know. In fact this feels a little damned if you do damned if you don't.

Post a bout a Nijisanji member? Take it to the Niji L thread
Post about an indie or or other small corpo?

I think the only thing lamer than complaining about the (non drama) vtubers that people is worrying too much if someone doesn't like what you're posting. I think there's a lot of worth even in the stuff that most people probably skip over. One man's trash is another's treasure and all. @Johnny Jambalaya If you want t post about Anya or Petra, I think you shouldn't give up talking about them. You're why I saw Petra's Bday stream in the first place and you're why I subbed to Anya before she collabed with Ina a bunch if that matters.
Otherwise, maybe Beeper was right and the thread should be split (I'm still firmly against that)

Does any of that have to do with what Warspite was saying from the other day? I admit I skipped what that argument was on because I was busy. I don't have anything productive to post right now, I was goign to ask the lurkers somethign actually... Like as a group.

Warspite's issue is that he acts like the shit he likes (Hololive iirc) is drying up despite how much clips or whatever content fans has made for Hololive, and the forum kind of ridicules him for essentially being as nitpicky as a baby eating his first baby-food puree.

Meanwhile the current thing that you discussed and happened above is that our resident Vshoejoeboy over here is not happy that someone shit on him for posting anything about Vshojo and accusing the forum for essentially not letting anyone post what they like before getting retaliated with migos or MATIs. This got countered with "well the forum doesn't cater on you, so either ignore the flak, lay your head down or fuck off".

Both are not necessarily the same, since at the end of the day the forum is for discussions first and shilling somewhere in between. Yes back in the day I sometimes shill niji stuff but it felt like it would be better to instead focus on the stuff that people would find to be informative enough to know or share, like that Nousagi puppet vtuber thing that he is doing, etcetra.

I'm not necessarily talking about shilling. I'd be a liar if I said I didn't like drama or industry talk as well. I was focusing more on how it's just more fun to talk about the vtubers themselves and what they're putting out. Indie event here, yes yes, but Doki's wrestletuber was probably the most fun I've ever had on this site for instance, even if I had to miss a good chunk of it.

Holofes and Phase concerts rank pretty high too. However, I also had a good time and really appreciated when Kuroa was collabing with some big fgc guys and showing a lot of JP fgc Killer Instinct, an american game that's basically invisible to that side of the world. People actually came to chat about that event too. If just talking about the streams, songs, and events counts as shilling then man I just don't know.
