VTubers have access to dozens or hundreds of guys who probably have at least somewhat similar tastes and are willing to listen to the girl yap for hours, along with all the other sources of SOs like cons/friends/coworkers/etc. I'd almost expect more of them than average to be in some type of relationship assuming they count e-relationships/long distance relationships.
Some 3-view is going to figure out a regular is some finance type and actually land on her feet. Basically the opposite of what Mikeneko has done, lol. The girls will never actually go for the Whales, because throwing huge amounts of cash at them will kick off many "ick" factors in their hindbrain. But, if they're making enough money, they won't be able to think long enough into the future to land on their feet. Because the gig will only last for so long, unless you get really, really big.
Reality is that "Chat" is a walk of text and interactions like they're a cashier at the grocery store. No Vtuber that makes it any time will actually be able to get contacted that way. It's just not the way this all works. As a result, the collection of sad girls will, unfortunately, remain sad girls because they won't do what is necessary to get out of that situation.
I like to use the example of Morgan Webb from G4TV/Xplay. While having a lot of advantages in life (tall, good looking White Woman that's quite intelligent in the Tech Boom and in Media), she absolutely nailed the landing post-Media career. Mostly by marrying a company founder and now VC guy. House net worth in the 9 figures USD. Most of the chuubas we watch aren't going to stick the landings, which is sad on its own.
Wow, that turned out a lot more depressing than I meant it to be when I started writing it.
She's on the bottle again. Also, just weeks after complaining about faceposts being leaked from an alternate account, she decides to post her face on her vtuber-associated account.
Will she be mad about these pictures being archived once she's sobered up? Who knows.

We may want to keep active links to Alcoholics Anonymous chapters on the forum. It's been far too common to need to recommend.
