In theory no but in practice mostly yes. The primary caregiver gets full custody (there was no such thing as split custody until like literally last month) and for a young child it's incredibly unlikely for that to not be the mother outside of like a genuine psychotic break or something.

But she did a 4-part interview where she interviewed some vtuber in this order: OmegaSister (OG vtuber), and 3 trending jap vtuber: Amau Syrup , Amakami Konomi, Nanami Urara. The problem is where she conduct the interview, it was on the youtube channel called αU, which belongs to a NFT trading platform/organization, their homepage is full of "buy this NFT now" and has nothing to do with vtubing. The youtube video title and thumbnail even has "from the voice actress of kizuna ai" for clicks
Hmmh looking up at the interviewee, they actually seems super interesting:
- Amakami Konomi (578k subs), debuted in 2022 to little success, ending the year at around 6k subs and 2 view status. She started spamming shorts and ho boi she was loved by the algorithm. She hit a few 6 million view shorts like this one (her shorts were around 500k views in march 2023) and she ballooned to 500k subs during 2023 alone.
She took advantage of her rising popularity and started her very own vtuber corpo in April 2023 called Million Production when she has around 200k subs.
The company debuted 4 more vtuber so far, each one as solo debut
Using the founder strategy of spamming shorts, they saw Nononononononono (yes that is the actual vtuber name) reaching 417k and Akubi Demonspade reaching 300k, the other two (including 1 indie joining as staff) saw less success.
Alas, as per the law of rin penrose, shorts vtuber have shit conversion rate to viewership, most of them are 3-view despite the org having 1.4m subs combined.
- Nanami Urara (456k subs): some redditor did a full write up of her here, but tl;dr is she watched himehina, became interested in vtubing, won a singing contest and used the contest money to hire a known vocaloid producer to make her original song and then quitted her daytime job to pursue full time vsinger
Her videos and livestreams are 2D but she holds flesh concerts
