If people want to buy in to a fantasy so hard that they fall for it, that's their fucking problem. You could make the same kind of argument that people should act if they're not really [character role] because it might give them the wrong idea. Don't blame the actors for mentally ill viewers, GFE content is almost as exploitative an industry as porn is on consumers. I agree that boundary-setting is very important to set ground rules, and to ensure that there are no hurt feelings on both ends (and that if someone does have hurt feelings, they would clearly be in the wrong).
I've never watched Vexoria though, so I'm curious as to how having her partner on stream works for GFE content.
I see where you're coming from, handling a doxxing situation with poise can contain the damage, but I'm of the school of thought that preventing such a situation from arising in the first place would be best for everyone involved.
In a situation where a GFE-oriented chuuba does find a RL partner over the course of their career, I think it would be better to be honest about it with the audience, instead of pretending that nothing's changed. NOT being honest is how you get schizos who rrat every time there are minor, almost imperceptible changes to your content.
Coming clean would alienate a large portion of fanbase and possibly drive off the paypigs, but it's also one of the best opportunities to pivot into other kinds of content with a lot of goodwill. This might just be me, but I think EN fans can more easily stomach having an honest whore as an oshi, rather than one who pretends to be demure, but turned out to be fucking around.
Besides, it would give your fans an easy counter to anyone who says

We joke about it but maybe Vtubers should start considering Nijisanji as a real college. You should be going in expecting to be in debt and that you should put in your effort in order to graduate in 2-3 years. What you want out of a college is number 1. connections, build a network of friends who will goes with you regardless of where you are, even more so the indies as they are less likely tied with nijisanji when you are eventually leaving.
Earning money should not be of your concerns, real life people going into college expecting years of debts. When money is no longer your incentive, Nijisanji management will no longer have a strangehold over you, they can't threaten monetary punishment, they can't use suspension against you, because you can think of suspension as going into library or a winter break, using said suspension to build relationship behind the scene. You don't need to curry favours with the principal/teachers and do their dirty work, because you don't expect to stay for a long term.
If you come into niji just to stream and expect money you are in for a bad time. Just like college kids who goes in just expect to study and nothing else and break down when the result aren't good because that's the only thing they know.
Once you graduated, you now have this network and certificate of worked at big corpo company and CEOs would line up to kiss your feet if you got big enough.
