She's said she thought about doing IRL streams sometimes too, and she doesn't care that much about being identifiable. Her name's been dropped a few times over the years by herself and others, but those were all accidental and the time she did was because she was considering killing herself.

It's nothing to do with blood, it's the education system. All Japanese schoolkids are put through mandatory fake English lessons, with a curriculum that's carefully designed to be both boring and ineffective. There's also a government programme (JET) to intercept foreigners who are at high risk of teaching English to Japanese people and divert them into safely getting paid to sit around and be useless instead. Obviously this system isn't 100% effective in preventing Japanese people from learning English but it gets pretty close.
There are a few legitimate language schools in Japan but the vast majority of them are just an excuse to get a visa. (Female celebrities who don't want to admit that they're married to a Japanese national also claim to be going to language school as an excuse). Either way, going for a few months makes absolutely no sense - that's short enough that you can get a regular tourist visa, and if you were actually legitimately studying the language it's not long enough. Rratting is warranted IMO - if you're saying she really did go to language school, what's the evidence for that?
Don't forget to take down those music videos they paid for every so often. Gotta keep them humble.
Presumably universal is taking an additional cut of her music royalties for doing that, on top of Cover's cut. So it's still ultimately getting paid for by the talent, just with a different financing structure.
